Like a deer caught in spotlight by tip of the antler
she froze when she saw the upcoming train
with a slow motion move like an Austrian landler
she ran from the danger, her only domain
The night was so frozen it held every tear
unable to move she just sat on the rail
her heart was a pumping the moon was a smear
as she wiped out the gravel and pulled out the nail
The stars were now shining but she couldn't see
the beauty of sky the fabric of green
for night was a falling, she made one last plea
Lord take me to heaven, don't be so mean.
