Blessing Oluwapelumi, Keep the Ball Rolling

Dream
        Swim through
          Cream the treats
            And follow keenly

The stream
Of the trying glue
Making up awesome beats
Of sounds filed serenely

      Sleep
        Don't hesitate
           To chill down
             Today's gladden heart

So deep
Of driving memories state
Within-out the colorful town
That makes celebration an art

Oh she is but a simple leaf
          Withering off its branch
           Having a new apt hope
             For the coming bliss
               Upon loamy soil
                 To live on and
                     Never die
                       Unjust!

                       In brief
                  If soil stanch
                No room for rope
            Target rather go amiss
And to the source shall recoil
Its functionality to the very grand
Set in fear to never again break the tie
For such memory ever barely live in dust

The world:- of your life's infernal gyration
Shall forever be a dream off consummation

Amen ??

At Any Rate Contest

“At any rate”, be fast moving and be full of surprises
Take control of what you have, make no sacrifices
Stay on top of your game and keep the ball rolling
Have intention, keep direction and know where you’re going
If you become predictable, embrace a change
Don’t risk becoming mediocre or, worse, mundane
Evolution is essential to keep up with the world around
Attentiveness will speak volumes, don’t mute the sound
I don’t just want you to jump. I want you to dive
Head first, steady paced, motivation and drive
The world is your red carpet, but only for a while
Don’t postpone it or loan it, but own it and smile

Everyone Knows, It Shows

Not trying to hurt the readers
Or become a poetic verbal ling beater
I’ll fade out of the last
These ends creep quietly past
It starts in fear
I’ll give it
Another year
Then gather all that was said
And put regret back
Into my head
Sorting what can never rest
A memory lap
Infests
Something
Someone
Disturbed
Now bouncing in my head
Unconcern
Though
Listening
To every word
I keep the ball rolling
Instead
Deeper thoughts
Off patrolling
A walk
Thanks to the lithium
Shake and roll
Answers on a limb
Insights possibility
On the rims
My confidence confined
Then on the cursing slide
A problem to think
May drive me to another
Mind spilling awful stink
Everyone can play strange
On their own memory lanes
Some houses out of view
For what they stand up to
Front yard trenches
Made of old work benches
An old oak tree
Breathing bothers me
Hard work upsets to need
Too busy convincing you
