Beauty Spot

Remember those days I thought to tell you
all my untold aforethought; but each time
when we met, your beauty spot diverted
mind, all efforts led to naught, couldn't say a
word; very well knew I ought to share what
thinking pops up distraught and confused I'm;
Can you express what's your thought; yes, I failed.
Untold dreams need to be brought to your heart.

But, when I think of you, got positive
vibes; appears you had soft spot for me; see
knowing that also my thought remains with
me; conscious of what I ought to tell you;
looking at your beauty spot, well rehearsed
monologue I just forgot; Can you help?

POETRY

Poetry by tradition must be rhythmic.
    Rhyming or non-rhyming matters little.
Rules- regulations to pen a poem
restricts poet to fly freely in sky
Better to allow the poet to soar high.

Wandering in dreams to be amused
on own muse reflecting on emotion.
Free verse is queen in realm of poems.
Rhythm with internal rhyming runs fine.

     Yet Poetry is nicest creation
     simultaneous self recreation.
Human feelings best to be realized
     through songs and poems.
Lyrics also are part of poetry.
Perfect poetry to feel and realize,
     neither to analyze or criticize.

Whether structured form or free verse to flow
True poetry in any guise sure to glow.

I learn to deal with charm that spills,
Aware of rate that sparks new psalm,
Sift form and feel to forge and fill.

I sit and wait for muse to come,
Listen for hint and feel to spur
Voice at the gate to spill and sum.

I watch light tint as tact minds blur,
Sense soft heart speak in pulse and grain,
Words start to mint new thought form slur.

I steal a peek that stays on pain,
Shift strands of lines to weave brisk rhymes,
Feel knows a peak to prime bold gain.

I choose a vine to spark my time,
Poise spreads a tact that signs a style,
Stretch line for line to form brisk chimes.

I word a fact to cast a smile,
Push and then pull to wear a gaze,
Woo a fond act to groom verse miles.

I play the fool in this mind maze,
Learn to fund blooms that spread sweet scent,
Seek feel that pools sound urge or craze.

I now make room for clear ascent,
Pen writes that zoom to firm intent.
