Intelligence Quotient Poems | Examples

Serendipity

From the era of troglodyte
to the evolved world of civilization.
The closer the life void of neophyte,
the farther apart should we be to condemnation.

Why is it that reverse is the case
as we race our intelligence quotient in haste
to daze the ignorance at the base
by God’s grace to evolve the world we now harnessed?

Every solved problem generates another.
Chaos – Coast to coast and border to border.
Problem upon problem is all we ponder.
Phagocyte of harum-sacrum acts pervade world’s three-quarter.

Carbon monoxide from cars contaminates ozone.
Human becomes prey for guns at war zone.
Preserved intakes cause carcinogenic issues.
Tears stirred by civilization could not be held in paper-tissues.

Serendipity in recycled severity
that characterizes the civility in gruesome tenacity
is a fruitless creativity in its best ability
to form vicinity with advanced social amenities.

Valueless is the invention that kills the purpose for which it was created.
I do not say we should stop being creative but be upgraded
in direction where bereaved is ceased to be the result we derived
from invention meant to ensure a better life.

Premium MemberLet It All Be This Way

Let the so-called disharmonized melodies
Take away my intelligence quotient,
Let it send me away mentally, imaginatively.

Let the so-called unhealthy disease of epilepsy
Rob away the skepticism in human beings (away from me),
Let me feel and think deeply, more than averagely.

Let the so-called risk of illness
Envelope my physical body’s final moments of life.
Let me feel as if it’s a way of finding God personally again.

Let the so-called disorderly depression
Teach me the existential meaning of loneliness,
Let me feel down, but I believe I can turn it all around and ‘round.

Premium MemberSpiritual Intelligence

From the Neanderthal’s obscure fossilized days
humans traversed evolution’s ordained trajectory,
scaling the rising heights of intelligence quotient
and emerged as the most insightful living species.

Insecure in the shrinking orbit of the deviant life
you gravitate to the center of your selfish self,
get sucked into the black hole of the ardent ego,
with existence controlled by the power of intellect.

When in the tormented life all the dreams break,
sink within, reach the soul at the depth of wisdom,
attain the sublime state of serene consciousness,
and feel the divine connection with the universe.

The ego abandoned, measure the meaning of life
with the soul’s quotient of spiritual intelligence.

Either Intellectually Deficient Or Inefficient

Eyes see moments of our birth
As little helpless babies with no neck to support our big heads
Which push society around as they grow in girth
When we fuss and kick mom’s in beds

Where once further physical development occurs
Eyes see us learning to crawl
In tandem with fate that seldom errs
As our fantasy indulges in a brawl

With siblings as eyes see us mumbling a syllable here, another syllable there
All the while driving our moms nuts
When we suckle colostrum and milk from breasts with an air
Of undiminished ubris as moms become butts

Of the unfunny jokes we crack
With unabashed joy, thinking the world a happy
Venue where blues in overdose we pack
To make family members unhappy

When from school moms cry
Despairing that we can’t construct a simple sentence in correct English
At the same time as in Arithmetic we try
Harder our sums and triangle perimeter calculations on time to finish

Prompting moms to wonder if their superior genes
Live in our mediocre intelligence quotient
Whose needles and pins
Portray a number of us either as intellectually deficient or inefficient.
