Chop Sticks Food For Thought

For an amateur it's quite difficult
to eat a bowl of rice with a set of chop sticks
and nearly imposable to eat a bowl of rice
with only one chop stick.
I guess the difference between the possible and
the impossible depends on how hungry you are
to achieve a positive outcome rather than a negative.

Lets all eat!
thought for food

Naive As Can Be

I am a creature of impulse
I fantasize about the future
but live in the now
what it is is never quite what I expected
but I improvise, and get their somehow
I know who I wanna be
but why will it always be imposable and why cant I finally see
Its never gonna seem how I thought it was gonna be
In fact he who is waiting for me
I know is someone completely unfamiliar to who I will be
I am the creation of my past
What remains after I left behind everything I would hate myself for being
shamefully resenting the person I used to be
while trying to clutch him and remember all his glee
When I do finally grasp him I wonder why is he so incredibly new to me
he is who I am and I am who is he
We two can never know till we get there
and when we get their we still wont ever see
that the now is whats a part of me
and the now is all I'll ever be

For Diane

They asked me which day of my life was the best
This set me a quandary I must solemnly attest
Could it be that day long ago when first I met you
Or the cold February day when you said ‘I do’
Twenty five years wed a momentous occasion
The birth of our children must enter the equation
Sadness on the day that our last born went away
Joy the first time that they all came to stay
The birth of each grandchild made us feel so proud
As though we could float on high in the clouds
So many, many great days so imposable to choose
My heart can’t decide as each one I peruse
This day or that day which one was the best
Many happy days with which I’ve been blest
I can not just pick one so this is what I will do
I’ll pick each new day that I wake up with you

Her Face

The blood within my veins ran hot and cold.
An unexplainable sensation overcame my body.
The face.
That face which had just imprinted a forever impression in my head.
A face that made it imposable to exist.
Her face.

Our feelings were the same.
An unusual obsession overcame her and I.
I cannot describe the feeling of the touch.
A static electric feeling came over her as well as me.
Our greet was imposable to avoid.

Her eyes stared into mine.
With unusual concentration.
My eyes stared at hers.
Nothing could separate our eyes,
or part our feelings.
Not the snake or the dove.
This moment lasted for decades.
It had seemed as if an angel had brought us together.

We were inseparable.
Our hearts were stitched together in a careful manner,
god could only create.
Her image and being was imprinted in my thoughts for eternity.
We were created to be.

But we could not last.
For her bearers would not allow.
We were origins of different matter,
which left us apart.
If I can help it; it will not matter.
Her face.

Simple Things

Life is one complicated thing,
Yet,
Life’s definition of complicated,
Is many,
Simple,
Every day things,
Threaded in tiny particles,
Of a rope of ash,
Imposable to most,
But you can’t read a book by its cover,
You have to dive into its depth,
Climb its highest peek,
Grab it by the horns,
But yet,
Feel the sensation,
Understand,
Seek what most don’t,
Find what most don’t seek,
See what most don’t find,
Enjoy the enjoyable,
Don’t,
As it is,
Complicate things,
When right before you are,
Simple things,
Visible for all to see.
