Then, he’d looked quite impervious,
Now, you can see: damned nervous
The present soon the previous,
Past triumph no more envious,
His change: shamefully obvious…
From ‘impervious’ to ‘nervous’
Journeys end in the grievous;
Like voyages perilous:
Satanic and mischievous.

Servious Both Nervious and Impervious
What we found about Trump's service;
Knowledge of it has made us nervous;
On edge,
Near ledge;
Completely recalcitrant and impervious.

Bernie Is Impervious To All Harm
By Elton Camp
Little Bernie settled in for the night
Being bid by parents, “Sleep tight.”
The room was dark and very still
But fear made Bernie feel a chill
Some horror in the closet hiding
A monster under his bed abiding
He stayed from edge of the bed
And pulled the cover over his head
Sheet and quilts protection complete
That any fiend would easily defeat
But let an arm extend out too far
A brute growls, “There you are!”
A hairy hand would take hold
Do to Bernie cruel things untold
As long as the cover was tight
Bernie slept safely all the night

Hush falls, like soft down,
velveteen,
the canopy of night,
when kisses rouse the tender
nerves,
the tips of your breasts;
sweet buds pressed hard
against the sensing tongue.
until the rain falls
down
from stars and distant quadrants,
pooling violet shadows
dilated in your eyes.
A face upturned,
porcelain,
neck arched and parted lips,
breathing sweet gasps,
whispering of love
and love’s dominion,
as this time
suspends forever
frozen,
impervious to the rain.
