** This poem is in memory of Anne Marie Murphy, one of the teachers who died in the Sandy Hook Shooting. Anne died trying to shield her students from the gunfire. She was found wrapped around 6 year old Dylan Hockley. Anne was said to be a woman who brought light, truth, goodness, and love to the world.
Anne locks away the darkness by using the light from her special angels.
Having them hold hands together to combine their light to shine over the world.
A shield will then cover the world.
Blocking some of the darkness out.
With the powerful light and goodness coming from Anne
And the little angels' hearts.

*** This poem is in member of Dylan Hockley, a child who died in the Sandy Hook shooting.
His blue eyes shine brightly like the sky.
He loved trampolines because he liked to jump high and see the wonders above.
Dylan died in the arms of his wonderful teacher and now is in the arms of the Lord.
Wearing purple and eating spaghetti until he can't eat anymore.
Stringing not only the spaghetti together but the people with his heart.
Everytime you jump on a trampoline,
Be sure to wave to Dylan and his friends as you look up at the world's beauty.

I feel like a prisoner having to marry Cal Hockley.
That overbearing beast will treat me cruelly.
My mother wants me to marry him for the money.
These events should not be happening to me.
Mr. Jack Dawson, I’m so glad I found you.
I know the feelings I have for you are true.
When this ship docks in New York in another day,
I plan to follow you and run away.
Despite your shortcomings, I want to be your wife.
We will leave these surroundings and start a new life.
Based on the 1997 film “Titanic”
