Life - Reprise

The dawn is near
The sun is almost setting
And darkness, soon be scattered
No matter how you try to stop it, it will come to pass

The colorful world we once knew
No matter how colorful it is
Will soon be gray
And we forget

Day after day
Will make us feel it’s so fast
And then we hope to go back through time
But the least we can do is to reminisce

Our eyes become dimmed
Skin that are smoothen in time soon be roughen
Our strength shall pass
And then our mind will be willing but the body will not.

Our memory will fade
And the only thing you will remember is today
And those beautiful ones, we kept in are heart
And cherished in our lifetime

Like a candle burned out
And so do we
And as the light is almost through
We turn to our maker

We become lonely and sad
Thinking it is through
But then it is just the beginning
In our Master’s Grace, forever will be laughter

Life - Prelude

You knit me together in my mother’s womb
Then you prepare an ultimate destiny for me
You slowly guide me towards your will
And on the way you gave a lot to me

So mysterious the life you gave me
But just as mysterious it is
This life is so magnificent
And you gave it as your gift

Like a diamond from ashes
Carefully you trimmed my life
Into a fine piece of gem into your eyes
‘Til it becomes so polished that I could not ask for more

In this life that you gave
You poured out yourself
You even created me in thy own image
And make me king of this world

Life - Interlude

We were born
We became a youth
And we grew old
Then from dust we return

We say our first word
We learn to read and write
And we learn a whole lot of things
Then all of the sudden one by one we forget

We are once a baby in our mother’s womb
We started to meet people
And we fall in love
Then we start to have our own family

We were in our mother’s arm
We start to develop and walk
And we learn to run
Then of to our Maker’s arm

We we’re innocent
We become corrupt
And go sinning
Then it will end

We laugh, we cry
We succeed and feel empty
And we search for peace and joy
Then we were whole as we meet thy creator

An Empty Nest

Now that the eaglets wings are stronger
One by one they smoothly flew
Leaving you, by yourself
Standing in a four walled room
An empty nest you see

Of memories, painful and blue
As well as the cheerful ones
Surely will remind you
When you stand in your empty nest
 And see each eagle fly

It seems like yesterday
When this room is full
Child is everywhere, running and singing songs
Now you’re alone
Only the memories filled the place

A question linger in your mind
Now what’s next?
Step back and relax
And watch your eagles soar
As they start to build their nest, soon they’ll be in your place
