My heart is heavy with the strain of daily living
What happened to tender heatedness so freely given
Why is my soul troubled, my spirit disturbed
Never before has my body been this perturbed
Will joy ever emerge, from the depths of my emotions
My life has been plagued with pure evil devotions
Causing much commotion, is my emptiness inside
I can’t find peace, my depression, I can’t hide
Can someone please tell my mind what to do
For it seems to think I’m content, just as you
My world is about to crack, only a matter of time
Why can’t I fin d, and gain peace at mind
