My feelings are growing,
In ways I don’t understand,
Is this what Heavenly Father intended,
In this does he really have his hand.
Should I question these feelings,
Or just let them grow,
Should I accept that they’re real,
And should I let him know.
I’ve listened to his words,
Does he know where we’re going,
And if I tell him this now,
Will it be too much emotions showing.
I fear that by expressing,
What I’m feeling inside,
It might be too much,
And he’ll run from me and hide.
I want to step back,
And put on the brakes,
To protect my ownself,
And save myself from heartbrake.
But he touches my heart,
And he touches my soul,
In ways I never thought possible,
He just makes me feel whole.
How can this be happening,
I question Heavenly Fathers time,
But he tells me he’s in it,
And its his time not mine.
How can I express this,
Will my heart he break,
Why can’t I just trust in Heavenly Father,
And enjoy the feelings for heaven’s sake!
