Moon

The train headed for the moon.
Despair was a station
where love stood in attention.

I need to be lectured
more on the need for vitamins
than on testaments.

Where did they go?
Here is the moon.
A moon a day keeps despair away.
Don’t moan on a hartal day.

Note: Hartal is a general closure usually imposed in India by political parties as a mark of protest against the government.
