Words have power,
Don't forget,
What comes out of your mouth,
Is what you're gonna get.
If you're filled with anger,
Contempt and unrest,
You must purge it and kill it.
This is no jest.
If you speak anger,
Hate and revenge,
This type of thinking,
Will never avenge,
The pain you once felt,
And still feel right now.
If you will find peace,
Put it down and avow,
To think only about,
The here and the now,
Whatever is worthy,
Of virtue endowed.
Peace is the order,
From this moment on.
In time you will find,
That the pain is all gone.
It's that which you think on,
How you meditate,
What goes on in your mind,
Will sit and gestate,
Till it finds a way,
To become manifest,
And affect your whole life,
In your heart make it's nest;
For thoughts are alive,
But you give them their power.
It's what you allow,
To grow and to flower.
Whatever you nurture,
Whatever you feed,
Will take root and grow,
And produce many seeds.

You keep me anchored
Safely moored to the shore
A beautiful harbor
Is where I reside
A sweet cove secure
From the incoming tide
Dare I drift away
Your grasp holds me back
Although a storm comes today
I'm not pulled into the black
But sweetly stowed in your seaport
As you bravely battle the fray
And I'm forever in your court
As I'm lovingly locked away.

That day,
I will never forget.
The mother of my father passes before him...while I am away.
No blockades before me, nothing impeding my immediate arrival,
except for my own fear.
Fear, not only of the death of the most matriarchal figure I have ever known,
but the fear of weakness itself.
In this moment of fear, I became myself what I fear the most.
Weak.
There is no way to change what was done.
There can be no glorious redemption,
like that on the battlefield or in an athletic event.
Just cold, unwavering, truthful, Everlasting Regret.

Fro' harbor light was doomed this night...
That Eastward lo' was said.
Beyond it's glare received well flight...
As best as always the wondering stare.
Oh hopeless test that request thy best...
Light beams signal the futured fight.
Well praying hands send out all hope...
This hope of a hopeless flight.
Beyond it's glare of signaled death....
Twas' sent it's freeing beam of light.
Sadness of war was read by night...
To end man's wars most hideous fright.
Begin this tale of war's worst sight....
Left desolated by mortar's most fiery roast.
Perhaps one tale-T'will spread thy tale of
death's unholy fearsome most...
Retreat thy army's bodied blood.
Retreat and save all life...
Retreat for God's sake by man.
Let go thy hunger for man's own-
-name of land and wife...
Harken hastly to snare this freedom by U.S.
