It’s tattooed lightly on my upper arm
“I love my mom, and she loves me”, it reads.
A squad from Space Force dragged me in the weeds:
“We’ve nailed you, boy. You’ll do no further harm.”
I woke in Guatemala, feeling calm:
I knew that an American who pleads
such stuff as ‘habeas corpus’ oft succeeds,
and sought me out a lawyer, without qualm.
But asking for the consul caused alarm!
They deemed it, ‘most nefarious of deeds’.
The embassy said, “Out of all the breeds
of poison snakes, you lib’rals take the palm!”
“That mother-love thing brings no saving balm,
applying pressure to unanswered needs:
we’ve got your measure – tie-dye shirt and beads!
The type that once protested Vietnam!”
“You’re lucky that you didn’t buy the farm,
since MAGA’s down on surreptitious creeds.
Whoever hurts the orange leader, bleeds.
It’s anti-presidential, that there psalm.”

there is stain
stainless stain
none sees
stigma bin niche
in the heart of my rose
the youthful rose
road to road
lane by lane
the fragrance
comes with virginity
of wile
will-o-the-wisp
the lace of writing
makes the attire
makes the disguise fire
on the Tyre of living gyre
respectively to the pyre
in the bier
not as the dead
but as the withered leaf of winter
in the wisdom of love
in the womb of chaste
heirs on the astray
habeas-corpus
hackles on the verbose anonymity
anopheles drinks
taste blood,
gyves the pathos of beautification
demise crawls the path of sagacity
no enmity
on the road of poetic procession
yet, the youthful rose
hails the decease of blood
in the nerve circulation
and circumcises the head of pen
in time........

HABEAS CORPUS
My daughter writes
Where are you Dad?
When'll you come ?
Who builds walls between us ?
Even if you come , how will I
Recognisze you ?
Blood simmers-
I was safe in mamma's belly
The day you stepped down
With accompaniments
Mamma lost her sense
Today, my ninth birthday
No cakes , candles and guests
Where are you ?
Parents meeting in school
I stood alone embarrassed
My Miss holding me,kissing on cheeks
Friends say
You are behind bars
Is it Dad ?
All relatives swear my birth
Am I that doom'd
Tell me Dad !
Mamma weeps often
Looking at railroads
Down our flat
Says nothing-
My daughter writes
When will you come
Mamma
Me
Where are you

Haunted by fears of abandonment he lived a life of counter measures
always aloof, his deceptions were a well rehearsed performance;
ultimately judged as inconsiderate and unforgivable;
And labeled as an insignificant happenstance that must be made to pay.
He measured his meters ever so carefully thinking he knew time so well;
Waiting for things to be right but never imagining it would never come back;
But in the end it wasn't time it was life and like a parentless child life;
Delivered to him but a centrifuge of what was once a living dream.
the man only wanted to be loved for who he was and not what he pretended to be;
But could anyone possibly know, being the shape shifter he supposed he was.
But he had a heart and he tried to be kind and he wasn’t superman so how did he;
End up labeled a breaker of promises considerate only of that which he desired.
So the man accepts the blame solely as his own for;
He should have known better but he finds these conclusions hard to bare;
And he considers it to perhaps have been mistaken identity of what;
He once believed an undying love was nothing more than a hopeless delusion
