Here, there is a surfeit of spam,
Fed to us by government man,
Democracy's harrowing tale,
Setting us up to fail,
Pollies' synchronised team,
Is all this what it seems?
Total cant and hypocrisy,
A merit myth of futility,
Spam surfeit, no caring beyond duty......

You’ve got to wiggle your bum
Like a worm;
You’ve got to land those big fish
Term to term.
You need to show them
You’ll never stand firm,
So you can be carefully bought.
You deserve to be bought--
Take your share.
All your colleagues are bought;
It’s quite fair.
Yes, demand what’s your due;
Who’ll glean a clue
As long as you’re carefully bought?
You’d better grab the dough
While you can.
You know it’s the reason you ran.
Snag it in cash
Mr. Government Man;
Stash it with forethought
Or poop hits the fan,
And your cunning might all come to naught
Now if you’re found out
You must claim
That it’s all a political frame.
Just brazen it out
And show no one your shame--
There’s a chance you’ll stay carefully bought.

C. P. P. A Battle
Oh !, if only I be a keen eagle,
able to see into what is legal.
I have to fly into the darkness – I must
search out, I must find out what is just
among reams of legislations they call
just for our society, and so, will I fall
prey, to what they will say, is the legal way ?
Will I have to wait ?, for what will become my fate.
Or do I stand up against injustice and say,
enough of violating the charter of rights, state,
it is time to take out of the hands of government man,
his creation, of what has been laid down for us in this land.
I will be standing up against, I will not be counted out !
At the top of my lungs, I will be heard, loudly, as I shout
about the injustice, the prejudice, the discrimination
perpetrated, hoping to bring justice, for us, in this nation.
