Dealt with a Sonnet and Haiku futility
Achieved some success without "thesauric" utility
Solved the conundrum of rhythm and pace
Wrote a true Limerick to redden the face
Accepted the challenge of functionless form
Imprisoned free verse becoming the norm
Judges use fingers because syllables matter
Counting them all makes them mad as the hatter
Some will rate grammar above style and grace
Others prize lines strewn all over the place
Then the exceptions that prove the fools rules
That murder the subject without leaving clues
Alas comes the trauma of multiple winners
Without separation of "the Pros" from beginners
Poems that achieve "algorithmic" foreplay
Somehow winding up as Poem Of The Day
Forsooth and a pussycat just drop one in
And if no one comments post it again
For sooner or later every dog has its day
To bask in the sun its "best" work on display

Seasons pass,
but our moments chill,
people change, we too,
but my heart still dwells you.
we move past the dimensions of time,
seeing life directing us to part distances,
once I started learning of your sunshine,
our own dreams brought hurricane.
I have learnt that sometimes our expectations are tricky,
why so? it's still unfold to me,
beings where natured to expect the surprises of life,
but we only focus on the pleasing side of them,
that is the side my mind was into.
at the end of a dark tunnel there is light,
same for all drastic ways there is hope,
without hope beings are functionless,
hope drives us, drives me.
I hope you understood my uncertain ways,
I hope what I saw in you is what you saw in me,
I hope my reflection wont perish in your thoughts,
I hope I still linger in your heart,
I hope it could go back to the beginning.
