AS I RELISH IN MY SAVIOR--
As I relish in my Savior;
Once led by my sinful behavior;
I’m addicted spiritually slain by my inner demons,
Harvesting these pangs, I pain caught up in exigency;
God’s mercies His grace He has given me;
Now alas, I AM a freedman;
Abstain from the woes those that I’ve vested;
I’ve past my trials, I’ve past my test now I’m rested;
In the mighty, mighty arms of the Master Christ;
Relenting in all things I’ve sacrificed;
Shall know I shall not scream His name in vain;
I will allow His truths and culture to rain;
Is, destined I will, I shall be His;
For this is so, this is what God says;
For my sins shall be drained;
In Jesus mighty named…
I’m now forgiven beginner,
yes now I am a winner
In the mighty, mighty name of Jesus, Hallelujah,
and alleluia
AMEN and again
AMEN

When Rome ruled the world,power was king,
A freedman proudly unveiled his iron ring;
In later years of olde,
The forefinger,the preference of the bold;
The middle by the prudent and discrete
Such dignity now appears polite & so effete;
A loop upon the littlest,show a masterful mind,
The circlet on the third,one of a different kind;
Love& affection,wed as one,to bind & then remind

Milton and Adam, egocentric Narcissists
capitalized idea of freedom from pessimists
Freedman and Smith, associates seeing all
to the very end of their own proboscises
no one knows better, than self (and them)
what society needs to get fettered again
what you don't know can't hurt ya, right?
capitalism can take away eminent domain
they reasoned government wants to regulate
all manner of every individual's desires
only to get the citizenry to relegate
and fill out the few forms they'd require
they (the government) don't need to protect us
from poisons in foods, or usury rates
we can all make our own lifeline decisions
it's all for oneself and no more debates
the crock that you fill with substance
is the crock that holds your own water
eco-governance only makes for encumbrance
grinding individualism to earth as a pauper
rooms they wrote from were filled with words
of what Adam and Milt wrote and said
to balance others with self they maintained absurd
'course Freedman and Smith - they're both dead

To those poets who guided me along
that long, arduous road to success:
I sincerely give them my sweetest
" Thank you " and my warmest hug.
I can mention many names: Carrie Richards, Laura Mckenzie, Carolyn Devonshire
Cathy Lindsey, Debbie Guzzi, Nette Oncloud, Linda-Marie,Harry Horseman, Rick Parise,
Andrea Dietrich,Carol Brown,John Freedman,Connie Marcum Wong,Andersen Anne Lise,
John J. Falotico, Destroyer Poet, Vienna Bombardieri and Tracie Indigo Dreamweaver.
I would love to see those names in the Poetry Soup Hall Of Fame;
they have shown devotion and ambition through their brilliant poetry,
and the entire world should recognize them for their talent and ability,
but if the literati ignored their contributions, it would be more than shame.
I praise these gladiators of literature whose sharp swords are words for thought;
I laud their achievements and shout their names with a pride never heard,
to let everyone know how great and invincible they are in the battlefield...
and they'll go forward holding the torch of inspiration until its flame will burn out.
