"No Heart"
Studied a flowchart
Then opened a letter with postmarks
Is a slow start
Better than having no part?
Everybody thinks they're so smart
A divided world continuing to grow apart
Listening to music by Mozart
While making my very own art
My soul dark
Cold and sharp
Even when I'm an old fart
Take you out with a blow dart
And speed off in a go-kart
Don't start
What you can't finish, if you got no heart
You most likely will not go far
Just like time has shown so far
Left the boatyard
Then saw the coastguard
While I was using sonar
And holding a crowbar
I will deal you the most harm
If your responsible for letting folks starve
I'll make you sink quick, won't let you float far
Sum of two, percolating hearts
Two forks merge, Love's current to kickstart
Love's seminal streams nutrients cart
Naively, through winding conduits dart
Each mind's eye the vital signs chart
Through coronary arteries; blithe goals, hopes jump-start
Strains increase blood pressure, tearing conjunctive cells apart
Gritty plaque dams; communication channels thwart
From heart's door, through silted veins, corroding dreams depart
Alter egos swell; each inflammatory argument a counterpart
A professional, therapeutic stent does bypass lane impart
Until acute thrombosis does stagnant minds compart
Divergent heart streams dissected on Love's flowchart
Relationships are so confusing,
At times amusing ,at times depressing,
It is certainly not a piece of cake,
It does require a little give and take....
Attitude changes and wavelengths mismatch,
On the delicate heart, do certainly leave a scratch,
Reasons for such behaviour appear so mysterious,
The mind raises an alarm "this matter is serious!"
"why does he do that, why does he say this?"
Oh this is certainly no quiz!
A patient ear and an open chat,
Is all it takes to bell the cat!
Take him to a cozy place,
Drop all issues in the charity case,
Just tell him how lovely as a person he is,
And how lucky you feel to be " sweet heart-his"
A feeling of importance , attach it to him,
Make him feel, the kids depend on him,
Let him speak, give him your patient ear,
Don't react on hearing some silly fear....
Let him discover his friend in you,
Not a boss who does the review!
Soon my dear, you will see,
The matter was as simple, as simple could be...
Small matters hurt the heart ,
Issues then surface like a flowchart,
A little time and a patient ear ...
Is all it takes to mend it , my dear!
