We thought Moo was unmarriageable.
We all said it; yes we did.
Over and over, until it made a record skid.
We did not think anyone to her would ever woo.
I said it, and Cousin Martha, and yes – you and you and you.
Moo is such a character, flamingly out there, over the top.
She found a husband quickly, and we nearly almost dropped.
Unmarriageable? Ha! We laugh and scoff now.
She has had six husbands so far.
We were totally out in left field.
She just left with her new man in a car.

She was an exotic, erotic beautiful peacock
Flamingly gorgeous feathers could not hide her mystique
We instinctively knew the hidden woman was a firecracker.
Green eyes gave me a come-hither look and I swooned.
He was a bandit; afraid of no bank tellers
Taking money out of the hands of the rich.
Darkly disturbing, hiding his humanness
I cringed when I saw him enter the bank.
She was a giggly snip, left over from the fifties.
Her hard shell had two perfectly cut out circles.
I knew she was uncomfortable; for it was not a good fit.
But I could do nothing to help her; it was the way she was made.
He is lying in a gutter, stepped on and smudged.
Wrinkled, with a turned corner so you can see a bit of blue.
Lots of white; one of his strings has been broken.
Pandemic is over; no need for him anymore.

Lavender Love
Within sensual seductive skies
Our lasting love flamingly flies
Choral colors of romantic rainbows
Creating canvas’s in melodic meadows
I call on thee cascading colors divine
Soaking in magentas of worldly wine
Dining with angels in frolicking fields
Dancing daffodils as their yellow yields
Lightly lavender surrendering sunrise
Exploding ecstasy thru enchanted eyes
Breathing in breaths of evolving embrace
Our molten melting love in sultry space
Blue-green indigo violet and ready red
Our palette of love is faithfully fed.
Happy Valentines Day...
