More attention should be paid to things that need fixing ~ not things that don't
Contests offer no free reins to sponsors ~ just another system glitch
What will be left when we've no voice ~ everyone will be stripped of a choice
I don't host contests, so what the heck ~ a tight fist holds sponsors in check
Feistiness is my mood today ~ I suggest you stay out of my way
These are just silly random thoughts ~ the kind kept hidden inside the heart
I'm posting these instead of fighting it ~ took John's advice to write it

Bigger than life, though petite in the flesh,
An outlet where coolness and intellect mesh,
A mind where ideas and decisions are fresh,
She’s as hip as a justice can be.
At 85 years, she’s still sharp as a tack,
With feistiness others before her did lack.

Even those on the right must agree.
With her trainer, her workouts have earned her acclaim
And her night owl habits put others to shame.

BEAUTY IS ALL I SEE IN YOU.
YOU'VE LAID IT ALL OUT,
REVEALING COLORS THAT ARE TRUE.
YOU'RE LIKE A TEMPTRESS,
WITH AN ARRESTING PERSONALITY.
YOU POSSESS THE FEISTINESS I NEED,
TO TRULY CAPTURE MY FANCY.
YOU'RE LIKE A LILY IN A FIELD,
I LOVE THE WAY YOU SWAY.
YOU'RE LIKE A GUSH OF AIR,
THAT TAKES MY BREATH AWAY.
I NEVER THOUGHT I'D FIND MYSELF,
IN COMPLETE AND UTTER LOVE.
