Fascias Poems | Examples

Bang It Hit Me

the big bang I'm told was the perfect place
for the universe to begin to save its face
and blast away false fascias and chaos
to show to its master, who was the boss

yet all flew apart in accelerated directions
and things went awry in a beautious way
tangentally curving in arced circumspection
galaxies spewed forth to a timeless decay

then life set about to see our sun winking
later sapiens emerged and soon began thinking
very deep thoughts, as deep as they'd muster
of quarks, black holes and far-off star clusters

in passing, I was able to conscript serendipity
from times distant of our space-time continuum
to pull an idea from that ancient antiquity
that others might be in this universal aquarium

in some cosmic queue, as thinking matters stew
in their large heads, if they even have some
they wonder about us, who we are, what we do
whether we're intelligent or merely pond scum

now when i sit in some colossal traffic jam
irritated and annoyed at the world, I am
reminded of that other, somewhere out there,
and I smile a bit and think of their welfare

Love Transcending of All

Baptised in a torrent of sweet Trojan rain
as an orchestra played geometric concertos,
unbreachable walls yielded dazzling fascias,
immortalised, spinning in saffron circles.
Barbecue moons lay on grilles of blue stars,
exorbitant diamonds, fabulous dew drops
gilded the lily with crisp crystal spheres,
transparent and tranquil in paradox dreaming.
A fountain evolved in a desert Damascus,
slaked thirst of the mouth of the shrivelled earth,
irrigation of life, bestowing Nirvana,
rain-forest lush grew where dust reigned alone.
Love everlasting transcending the chaos,
the treachery kismet bestowed with no thought,
no blighting of body, neither fates nor the horsemen
may wither or mar love transcending of all.
