A wind-induced smile greets me. Cradling the baby’s head, floccose like a ripe raspberry; I’m both filled with wonder and dread. The fragrance of the care products is a stark contrast to the latibule I’ve habituated for many years during my tours of duty. How am I to care for this fragile being when mankind is hell-bent on extirpation? The eminent threat is daily updated on the Doomsday Clock. Paradise razed by conflagration like the residue of a charred batch of jam: irredeemable! I can but sigh while I vow to protect him and his mother to the best of my ability.
Here you stand accused of intimidation, degradation and defamation
Daily depreciation, mental extirpation exploitation and pontification
Demoralization, cutting down people short of castration or amputation
Being a ruthless purveyor of humiliation, frustration and devastation
We gave you undivided attention, dedication, devotion and ovation
What more did you want from us, a coronation? You’re an abomination
What possible justification for abuse equivalent to molestation
Is it any wonder out in the world, there’s daily confrontation and assassination
You left us nothing more than palpitation, indignation and now vociferation
Rightfully demanding an investigation resulting in sensitization, a little edification
We have ambitions of a civilization where thrives admiration and appreciation
A combination of inspiration, aspiration, dedication and compensation

This revealed apocalypse
Bringing extirpation of cherished tenets
And arguments that freezes nerves of the
Hesitant warriors
Warriors already disciplined by multiple losses,
Losses that could perhaps continue in this renewed phase
Phase whose pace of motion tortures my emotions
With this pace, tomorrow might be my death –day
While yesterday was my birthday
And honestly,
What is the difference?
If the difference is not the same.
