Franny rode a ferris-wheel,
Franny rode a horse,
When she ate a hot dog
She always dripped the sauce.
Franny rode the ghost-train,
Franny rode the dipper,
When she drank her flavoured ice
She was a noisy sipper.
Franny rode the dodgems,
Franny rode the tractor,
When she ate her fairy floss
It looked like it had attacked her.

Goose Fair
I really do love Goose Fair
It’s such a great feeling just to be there
Carousels going round and round
With your feet not even touching the ground
Or Dodgems bumping into one another
Leaving your heart all of a flutter
Candy floss, sticking all over your face
Tucking into hot mushy peas, while round you race
Some rides just too scary to go on
If like me, you are getting on
But that does not stop you having the time of your life
Especially when you have had, Countless years of Agoraphobia and strife.

The fun of the fair, sound and sight,
Swirling circles of brilliant light,
Octopus, dodgems, Ferris wheel
And then there’s a truly tasty meal,
A hot dog and onion delight.
The wailing ghost train haunts the night,
Goose bumps form as the people squeal
And everyone unites to feel
The fun of the fair.
The merry-go-round in full flight,
Pink and white popcorn warm and light,
These sounds and sights help me to steal
Echoes of youth and then I can feel
The thrill of a magical night,
The fun of the fair.
