My Thoughts On The Island

I want to camp on the island
Hear the loons on the lake
Feel the breeze in the trees.

I want to see the pretty moon hiding the bush
Like a giant cyclopes squatting on the lake
And think the moon will sees me under her grace.

I wonder how images capture
The deep feeling of a photographer
See the beauty being vividly taken pictures.

I will just think the good things today
Cherish all good moments yesterday
And reserves my smile tomorrow.

The Heart of a Sad Man

Exonerating eyes that yield
     Upon the eyes of cyclopes,
Bemoaning and rancorous enigmatic
     As we think.
Ponderously, I swim to nausea,
     Galloping to forever dream.
I see life in gargantuan way,
     Neither the illusion of the majestic
Enthralled and reverberating echo,
     Of thy thunderous anger, I fear.
For this is the summation
     Of my grieve heart.
In this way, I may die a loser,
     A beaten man.
With pity and devouring rage
     To that sun, to that arrogant feisty sun.
For this, I'm a rotten down-trodden
     Sad, sad, sad man.

Poetic Odyssey

The spiritual quest to explore,
the theory of mind and its score.
Parallels of circumstance,
testing the intellect to advance.
Narratives on individual psychology,
complexity of thought throughout history.
Considerations beyond the bound of tale,
the struggle to survive as soul cannot fail.
Emotional depth of sea that inspire,
trusting matters of the experiences dire.
Epic psychology and its dilemma,
Cyclopes and Hydras forever.
The story of love that waits,
mutual recognition and opening,
the golden gates.

The Beautiful Island of Livius

What seemed an unrealistic painting has disappeared;
a sunset too beautiful to linger has gone to sleep.

Sadness is felt internally, amazement externally.

Use your imagination to reconstruct that blood-smeared sky;
you may perceive it differently from mine.

In each new season, it changes from azure to gray.

Livius, a small island, was once owned by the menacing Cyclopes;
whose greedy attitude the Sirens fiercely hated.

Too sorry for them who couldn't sing a merry note.

My determination to discover overrides a fright many cringed at;
I look beyond and all voices have ceased.

Something inversely imagined can become a real threat.

The limpid sea with shades of light green and medium blue glitters,
It's the same one that the Greeks beheld.

They settled here and started another Hellenic civilization.

The pungent smell of the lemons and oranges sweeten the salty breeze;
they are a testimony of a people tending their fertile land.

I am the observant of a scenery that others envy.

Life On Mars

Life On Mars

Horizons on the red planet rise
To the thinning skies powdery pink
Smoke like, ghost like creatures, pillars of sand
Lifted ever up in the cool swirl Martian winds
Nearly airless as they come to life
Cyclonic Cyclopes dust devils arrive
Grain like monster machines take shape
Terrorizing the silent planet’s sleep
Mars on the rise only wants to keep the peace
To watch the distant sun go by
Cliffs on the other hand, sit perched for centuries
Hold their own in shadow and in light
Observe the show below, delighted
Desert planes with ghostly pillars
Made of sand, married with the timid wind
Came to life upon those seas
Dancers on the lonely planet land
To act for audiences who did not show
Then lifting over rocks and mounds
Life on Mars moves on to other spots
