What can’t happen, now confuted
Dead can live, and they succeed
See them coming, well-reputed
See them getting what they need
Like a page that you refresh
They appear as if by click
From deep sleep, back in the flesh
Was it time that did the trick?
On this basis, I surmise
We shall come back someday, too
You smile at me against the sky
Like you often used to do.

Oh swan where is your song
That lost woeful cry
That last wail of goodbye
Your beauty never faded
with your life of ferity
in cautious humility
And as you fly the night sky
Your plumage is not confuted
Your voice no longer muted
Oh swan, here is your song
Oh death, where is your sting
For that swan,
That beautiful swan
Still has this song to sing.
