Simmering summer days drained by the cloud burst rains,
flow down through the autumn bridge to halcyon horizon,
where the burnt ginger sky rises to seamless azure space,
swan cloudlets wave farewell to the south flying swallows.
The trees clasping the canvas of my meadow get coat of gold,
chromatic leaves rustle on cinnamon soil of gorgeous garden,
where the beguiled buds have unfurled their inciting petals,
splashing in crisp air flecks of radiance from the riot of colors.
From yonder woods cascades the music of whispering breeze,
the melody in harmony with the tune of robin’s song of dawn,
resonating with the cadence of glittering dew on adorned grass,
in the wake of its splendor I walk my delight on the garden path.

You and I; we're going to swap our stories
Under the curving Milky Way
We're going to drink rum high in the green trees,
And toast the dying of the day
Snug as cloudlets free from the reach of man
Bright eyed eagles in their blue eyries high,
We the merry few of the green wood band;
Raising glasses to that slow honey sky
Then like a comb across the dusking grass;
Guitar strings will couple raw with the breeze
Laughter to sombre kinship shall pass,
With those guitar riffs, floating through the trees
Eternal you; washed by the maiden moon
Swaying soft in nests of mirth,
Where our cares? They fell with the day that swooned,
They no longer walk the earth
High enough for 'always,' and 'never end'
Aye, tears may come, don't we wear them well!
Just you keep on talking, my greenwood friend
I love you so completely, too deeply to tell

Rains came and washed the hot summer days
sliding to winter freeze on the autumn bridge
seen in the burnt ginger sky turning azure cool
adorned by the flotilla of swan white cloudlets
waving farewell to the south flying swallows.
Verdant canvas gets coat of gold in the woods
ripened days of leaves dawn in riot of colors
while shaken by the unsteady northern wind
they cling to the shrinking stems waiting to fall
on the cinnamon soil of settled summer dust.
The curling leaves twirling by my window pane
I hear rustle in morning breeze on garden path
the swish synchronizing with tune of robin song
heralding crystal hues of the sunburst horizon
reflecting autumn’s golden glitter on dainty dew.

Imagination simply staggers with its grandeur
The beautiful, ever-changing sight on earth
Enveloped the earth in its colourful panorama
Golden glow announces the dawn in the east,
In the west, crimson sky bids the day adieu
Royal canopy of blue,
Royal canopy of gray,
Royal canopy of resplendent white,
A majestic canopy of ruddy hue
All giving a grandeur haven
A red sunrise presages a red sunset
A white billowy, cotton-like cloud says a fine day is here
A Gay featherlike cloud says the rainy season is here
Like children about their parents,
Straggling cloudlets surrounds the white cloud
How magnificent it is at night with the starry design!
Fluffy clouds! billowy clouds! fleecy clouds!
Almost daily across its broad highway
Parade clouds of every size and description.
Each cloud assumes an infinite variety of shapes
All creations of perfect art across its broad highway
Dazzling masterpiece of beauty
Its scopes are worthy of the finest carpenter.
The wonderful work of the one with perfect knowledge
This royal sky

Sitting idly by the river with a fishing rod in my hand
A timeless afternoon spent in reverie, eyes benumbed
Watching cloudlets floating across distant mountaintops
I find myself all hooked up, writhing happily in the sand.

Oh! Let me full upon
thine eyes
Before the temples of the
ice
To save to self, the
greatest joys
Which in thine offerings,
employs.
Though I am not of
thrones or crowns
I never leave to others,
frowns
I'd never suit(in coins),
thine art
But trust in true virtue,
thine heart.
Let me into the soul
within
And cleanse mine heart
of staring sin
For lo, the cloudlets,
downward lent
The manna for thine own
content.
Therefore in such a
tender glance
Belong to me, if so in
dance
That I shall all the
wonders see
In all the balls of tarried
glee.
I thus presume and so I
must
That this conceal en-
softens crust
For never in this feeble
time
Has earth lingered, and
fled to clime.
For who in Heaven, earth,
or sea
Has seen thine offer, as to
me
Is met with greater
pardon, blest
And soars to Heav'n,
when Hell, the rest.
