Premium MemberGetting Familiar With Divine Treasure

How does one get to know the Bible?
the same you get to know friends
by spending real time with them
so you become the real spiritual blend

No matter the years you've lived
you can't sit back being complacent
for the scriptures will find you out
leaving you down in the basement

Like a herb when it's in full flavour
God provides enlightenment of light
making the clarity of scripture so real
discipleship takes you in full flight

When you become more familiar
with holy writ, there's a new dimension
for this divine word reveals a treasure
to you far hidden never a mention

But now God reveals in His word
His purpose to push your sanctification
gifting His treasure to you a sinner
transforms you with real ramifications

("To get the full flavour of an herb, it must be pressed between the fingers, so it is the same with scriptures, the more familiar they become, the more they reveal their hidden treasures and yield their indescribable riches.")
John Chrysostom (A.D. 347-407)

The Blue

The anil palate, fauces of the sky.
Oh, deep blue ink on the supernal tongue!
I see the cloud soundlessly die,
I mean, the word of cloud dies among
the blueness of a phrase of a nice day.
The blue Chrysostom tongue is able of
expressing everything: the white, the gray
intricacy of colors, the standoff
between the Earth I'm standing on and you
who's speaking from the heaven. You pretend
you don't exist. That's why a very few
of us can see, discern and understand.

The understanding is that me and you
misunderstand the meaning of the bleu.

The Dual

In singular, in blissful ignorance,
I happily existed in advance
of tasting blithely an ambiguous kiss.

My dear singularity, intact
complacent wholesomeness, what have they done:
a sweet saliva, a Chrysostom tongue,
the lips, a bit thin lips, to be exact,
a tricky smile, a quick eye at the clock
and a continuation of the talk
like nothing happened, chilly and abstract.

Split into two, bereft of unity,
alas, I have no more immunity
for dual... Truly, ignorance is bliss.

Once I’ve invented this form: aab, cddceec, ffb. I don’t know how to call it. Kurtistani?)
