It’s not so hard to change what you’re thinking
If what you’re thinking troubles you
Think about something else
Something that makes you smile
Like a remote control changes the stations on a television
Don’t like the program you’re watching?
Change the channel
Watch something else
You can channel surf too
If you want to
Go through a bunch of different thoughts
Until you find one you like
And then think on that
You can always change the channel
Just
Click
A different show
A different thought
See how easy that is
Now go watch your favorite program.
Sunday brought fresh rain
Aqueous oozing plain
Umbrella in hand
Wet trip round the bend
Long queue for hot food
Noodle soup felt good
Waltz back home promptly
For my family
Headline news blurry
World in falling spree
Share a simple meal
Gulp hot soup that heals
Update in an ooze
Stay away from booze
Sit with story line
Words in slow incline
Channel surf seeks finds
Sleepy thoughts greet mind
Take a nap to fit
Restore sense of wit
Sunday cracker crisp
Rest works fine and brisk
