They were Lilly Whites from Kildare,
And Boggers from County Clare,
Herring Gutters from Donegal
And Dubliner Jackeens.
They were Goat Suckers, Slaneysiders,
Magpies and Rossies.
They were Kellys, and Murrays,
O’Carrols, and Moores,
They were Campbells, MacMurphys, and Dunns.
One claimed he’s from the Hill of Tara,
Another, from Tyrone among the brush.
They came for the work on the Schuylkill Canal.
They came for the work on the railway.
They came for the love of those lonesome Colleens
They left at the dockside in Derry.
They worked and they drank,
And they gambled and swore,
And they prayed for the saints’ intercession.
A few sought the balm of a comforting whore,
Then mumbled their sins at confession.
They offered their immigrant muscle and sweat,
Like Hercules hard at his labors,
And carved out the tunnels and fashioned the locks
That helped build their grandchildren’s nation.

Campbells and Winchesters,
Dean,Sam and John,
Together they are the Hunters,
Of the unknown
Supernaturals.
They summoned,shoot,stakes
and burnt,
Their preys of lore and legend,
Vampires,shapeshifters,zombies
and demons,
You name them and they
fought with them.
Castiel is their guardian Angel,
Against the yellow eyed
demon Azazel,
Chosen a human with
demon's blood,
To open up the Hell's gate
prison.
Then there is Lilith the white,
Daughter to the father of lies,
Who wants to break 66 seals,
To free daddy Lucifer from
Hell.
There's two ways to kill a
fallen,
One of their own ancient
dagger,
Another is a Colt demon
killing gun,
Which leaves more monster
trails for the hunt.

I ain't quite ready yet!
To stand in the dark recess of the cupboard
As unrequested
Out of date
Discontinued
Campbells..... chicken soup
My heart still listens
My stomach
Still loops the loop
When you are around
Yet still
I just stand
Unenjoyed
Unemployed by loves relish
So as a pitiful dog
I'll lay in my basket
And just embellish
