La Cafe De Les Miserables

I see my reflection staring back
From an empty cup of coffee, black.
And new lines that I have never seen
Have made an older man of me.
Typists and calligraphers alike, like me
Come here to decipher the human psyche
And through and through all of us fail
And eat plain biscotti with coffee, stale.

Pickity Pockity Is a Pied a Puskin

Polka dot swimming gala is neither a boiled cake or a slow roasted peanut on toast. A rave in a raven tent is a window view on an icelandic island. But language learnt leaves laughing leaf. And a bionic bikini in a wasteland sprawl is neither a synagogue or an icon. Board a boat brilliantly and bring a board of blueberries. Swirling. But no iced top. Not today. There is too much grease to clear. Ok then. We can go for a walk and chat to microscopic flying worms, millipedes and a fruit scone. Fantastic. Wow. Dare to dive in a characterisation of a portrait? Hahaha ingestion of investigation inverted no commas. Hahah bed xxxxx calligraphers that was the p y q reporting on a lid. Z

Premium MemberMiracle Sticks

Onto the blank page,
Pour forth thoughts; ink lines of black;
Thought forms of fluid;
A calligraphers ink-scape
A magical miracle.

Wordsmiths

Words reside alone in time and space;
Only sentient minds their roots trace.
Etymologists bring accents, forms to the surface;
Lexicographers establish a chronological base.
In dark, library basements, archivists file in database;
In academic institutes, linguists their value appraise.
Calligraphers, Engravers with artistic touch glaze.

Phrases the syntactical bridge brace,
and cultured interlocutor platforms grace.
Idioms the colloquial strains do lace;
Sages their poignant advice encase.
Ethnographers stride where lingua francas interface.
Truisms sculpt a vernacular face;
Politicians their trite maxims raise.

The Power of the Pen

Ink wells drying out,books march to their graves.
Stationary evolving like cavemen in caves.
Bibles on websites,there's no longer books of prayer.
Electronic revolution's just too much to bear.

Handwritten letters,that were sealed with a kiss.
Signing your name on your wedding day bliss.
Calligraphers tools now lying in museums.
Curious children queuing up to see them.

Blackboards rejected,cut and pasted to the past.
Fountain pens and pencils will be joining them fast.
Our futuristic man will no longer write.
Pen and paper passing him like ships in the night.

No more joyous moment, when a child writes her name.
With lap-tops and e mails the letters look the same.
When these things will happen,i just cannot say when.
I think mankinds losing the power of the pen.
