Cachinnation Poems | Examples

Ridi

			The people come to laugh.
			They come to forget themselves,
			even for a mere instant.

			And in that instant,
			nevermore shall they sleep;
			they arise and face themselves
unable to turn their heads away

			until the last Matryoshka doll
			has been unraveled, leaving
			a hollow porcelain string
			frozen in its place

			What soul shall remain untouched?
who will be left to deride the great clown,
when they can only face themselves
without one spark of imminent cachinnation?

Ridi, rid thee of your silent tears,
the greatest clown has come to
			alleviate your fears

			Rome burns alive,
pick up the harp and the horn
			and dance, dance along!

Comical cute scores penned.
Cash_Johnny's cadillac
Continuous humor picked
Cachinnation left lips.
Chuckling because he's hip.

Attempt at Pleiades
Written: October 16, 2020

I am thinking of a number of humorous ones written by/sung by Johnny Cash like "One Piece At A Time".

"She's Got The Biggest Parakeets In Town" by Jud Strunk. And I could go on.

Cachinnation

Cachinnation

I sought to sneak a surreptitious ogle
Into people's hearts, long wont to swaddle
Lugubrious as they were reluctant to bail
From their ethereal,pitiable jail

Launch a ludicrous joke and torment appease
Provoke laughter and ruinous anxiety ease
I had always surmised in humor as healing
To break the ice and mood lightening

Met my bid,alas,with mundane grin
Blemishing their strained faces and souls akin
Like tarantula spiders without food superannuate
For years intern themselves and disallow to mitigate

Why pleasantry has come undone
Most hearts have sunk and engulfed in the long run.
                   Abdelwaheb Dhaou.

The Royal Peasant

His belly full of absinthe
His nervous system writhed
as he looked up to the heavens
cachinnation in his eyes
The juice from plums of damson
trickled down as purple blood
as he fell, the kulak jester
face first flat into the mud
Aromatic orange berries
filled the night right up with spice
whilst the hyalite 'round his finger
sparked itself up to delight
The nadir answered back his laugh
with rain and sleet and hail
as we leave the jester lonely
sleeping in his vinic jail~
