Nobody cares about me,
An apple, a sandwich and some chips,
I’m missing something.
Why don’t people like?
What is wrong with me?
On my left, the popular group,
A flock of eagles dressed in school tuxedos,
On my right, the burnouts,
Flapping pigeons dress in Levi jackets.
I am the middle, I am the nerd.
I eat by myself and walk by myself.
Damn it! It’s not fair!
No one says hi to me in the halls,
No one sits next to me in class.
I am a person, I have feelings too.
Everyone talks about the big party over the weekend.
Know what I did?
I sat home crying.
When I answer questions, people laugh.
I’m not a jock, I’m not a stud, I’m just me!”
Sometimes I wonder why am I on this planet.
Done eating,
I wall the halls to the same old wall,
Where I stand everyday,
Waiting for the bell to ring,
An ant, black and dead…
