Just having to be erect
Supported by your two feet:
The posture that is correct
Before one whom others greet:
Bosses who would things direct
While ours are to matters treat…
Punishment for a sitter,
Sitters made to stand ‘bitter.’
You’re a brute - a hitter,
Attention lost some could dither;
They won’t talk nor smile either;
Now, gaps between you wider!
Elsewhere, it’s test of courage,
Long hours of it long carriage;
The flat-footed can’t it brave:
You’d be making one a slave…
For babies a crucial test,
Crawls dragged too long not the best;
A gift for mums East and West,
Babies reward milk from breast.

LOVE blows gentle bubbles of yearning despair
untouchable world-like systems within the brain
-- beauty and horror //love and hate\\ under woe
and then up grows green and flowers of romance
THE PLEASURE AND PAIN
(THAT one hides whilst the other shows itself hiding)
how both show nature: that a rabbit in fear still
enjoys love and life although burrowed.
comes here a man. carrying fear and brute -- a woman?
by love and tender skin her tongue and heart.
she'll spin that spirit and by eyes assuage the beast.

fade the tyrant to black
to snap a people's slide to hopeless
when the down trodden gasp for frenzied gulps of air
freedom's fullness lost
authoritarian arms in perversions of civic life
that bash the rush of free expression
when the hatchet faced boss combats thought
like a burning bacteria that drains color from life
Is the brute a man at all but a boot on the world?
blunt force trauma in jaws snapped shut
calculated state control celebrating callousness
to smear malice that slackens one's soul
citizens cower in concealed shelter, encased in
black-boxed fear
eclipse of the sun from the tyrant's grip
sooty nights of sirens wailing
when a protest fist rising means life severed
push back possible in the timeless fury of revolution
from rebellion whispering in moonless corners
but only when a people's survival is a silenced cry
we hear
