If swallows scissor scarlet skies
and gather summer on their wings;
then seasons shift to autumn tones
as gnats retune the evening's song.
If apples swell with ozzing juice
that slowly drips on wooden floors
then purpled fruit release their stench
in time that slowly stretches hours.
If stubbled fields are stacked and stooked
with hay in gilded packs that sway
then harvest yields beneath the moon
reflecting fallen bronzen leaves.
A sharpened odour fills the air
as bonfires smoulder vacant lands

An epic saga in words,deeds and song
Of a man who killed lions,& wore his hair long;
Samson,a Nazarite when this tale began
The Spirit of the Lord,fell upon him at Dan;
With just a jawbone,a spectacular killing he made
Freeing Judah and ruling for two decades;
But desire, was this Judge's downfall
A lover's wiles causing him to fall;
He revealed his secret,without due care
Delilah so quickly razored off his hair;
The Philstines bound him with bronzen rope
To God,Samson called out in hope,
And making his final heartfelt plea,
The temple fell down ,for all to see.

You
Your bronzen skin,
soft as the white wings of seagulls.
Your eyes,
confident and clear,
how do I love your clear eyes.
I write my desires into the sky,
into fresh air,
with the feather of a deep and open heart.
Your voice, soft as pacific-air.
Your calm voice
keeps day's happiness
in my memory.
