Humans attempt to save the rainforests…
Well, some at least.
Trees laid to rest. 5
Fragmentation of habitats.
Large expanses destroyed,
Leaving smaller, unconnected patches.
We need to restore the damaged ecosystems
With the help of planting trees. 10
Trees are diamonds.
Delicate and elegant.
We need to protect the rainforest
Before it’s too late.
Fossil fuels must be reduced 15
Or else there will be no animals to reproduce.
All we do is take.
We take and take and take
Until it becomes a problem.
One hundred and thirty-seven species of life 20
Driven into extinction each day.
Extinction impacts species,
Humans as well.
Rainforests are one of the largest biomes,
Providing ecosystem services. 25
Natural resources for production,
Regulation of climate and air quality,
Filtration of pollutants, pollination of crops,
And the generation of money by recreation.
Saving the rainforest is like a marathon. 30
Always staying focused,
Patient,
And motivated to achieve a set goal.
It is green, the color of life, nature, and renewal.

Living among animals, some of which albino
Other lifeforms gigundo or micro
Folks in the same or different time zones
Had to keep my nose to the grindstone
And put down the Iphone
Spent time outdoors on my own
The beauty of it all, left my mind blown
Out among so many pinecones
I can feel it in my bones
Business conducted in person or by phone
Working toward another milestone
I know
Never underestimate thy foe
The stem on the plant was a rhizome
And this other plant had all these trichomes
Growing and dying in and out of similar or different biomes
Nearby clear waters or on the surface is a white foam
People living homeless, and others in a nice home
Sometimes for a cat or dog, the doctors prescribed Visbiome
The area was currently a no fly zone
Due to a cyclone
Was not even close or in the strike zone
Close to and far from Limestone
It was made of fine stones
Or possibly made with rhinestone

No more games of truth or dare
Getting to anywhere
Through the air
It's like I wasn't even there
Above the houses
And any mountains
Way out in
A place yet to be founded
Where it occasionally became clouded
Over the hills
Where the air is occasionally still
Near and far from any window sills
And fields being tilled
Or where oil is being drilled
Through different zones
Up and across roads
With varying amounts of stones
Whether similar or different biomes
All around the cliffs
Where it's still hit or miss
Staying the same or a change and shift
Across any planes and rifts
By the oceans
And ships in motion
Areas narrow or wide open
That do or don't have totems

This world has still not yet been fully exlpored and mapped
Imagine that
Pages on the original bible aged
While many lifeforms were unable to reach the final stage
Due to unexpected disasters such as tidal waves
Objects now buried, that use to be on the surface
Waiting to be found, taken care of and used with a purpose
Or to be sold and purchased
In so many regions
Monuments built for specific reasons
Due to whatever it was that they believed in
Or to help them out through the seasons
Plants that are native
And others considered invasive
In all kinds of different places
Caves
In pitch blackness and shade
Full of things that are strange
Trees towering
Over fauna and flora flowering
And where others lost or found a ring
Stones
In biomes
That are scorched and froze
Some of which have markings that are still undeciphered and unknown
Animals adapting
As time continues passing
Nothing is everlasting

They dug a pit in the clay
To mark the Millienium day,
Creating five large biomes
To house earth's plants in global homes
A new Eden, living in glass domes.
