born to borrowed lives
wide-spreads, a worthy life

Vanity
Vanity thy name is woman,
Quoth not Hamlet about her domain.
The vanity of a woman no stir can hear,
Which to her heart she forever holds dear.
Truth and honesty broke many a home,
A life in deceitful bliss enriches her dome.
Ignorantly rests vanity in her mirrored den,
Eclipsed is she from her dear brethren.
With many a clattering sword has her blood been shed,
Comes not vanity out of her own muddlehead.
In the battlefield of numbered breaths,
Entombed is vanity with her many deaths.
The swooning vanity to falsehood does behold,
Shies away from the sunnier truths of life to unfold.
Uncover the clarity between truth and illusion,
That vanity may revel with newer resolution.
For unspoken truths will to embers die,
Happy vain ears in mirages lie.
The truth, vanity bethinks the devils spout,
Hence Buddha's silence before her we pout.
