Best Wastefulness Poems
Is there any who will challenge circumstance?
On this place of 40,000 writers, how many care?
Maybe many arn't active? Did they get tired?
Some have died..This I know.' Good talented men
Women, I wonder?? I am not much for waiting.?
Not these days, people are starved of knowledge
Denied vision, there has been subtle and overt
Bullying since1920 till now..Now its getting more
Agressive, louder more volume less quality.'
Accountabilty.? That only describes numbers now
Thats all the Media nephalim are inrerested in.'
Period.' How low can they push? all who challenge
The death of the nations? as low as they allow it to
Go.' Thats it..' we can live for better or allow worse
And die in ignomy.' What gain is that? If we allow
Ourselves to be pushovers, it still hurts when the hit
Comes..Are your eyes closed? And is that because
They are swollen from some earlier punches? Or is
It just that you welcome the firing battalion.. Not a
Squad.' Today this epoch..Is one of utter wastefulness
So the ideaology equals current endings, save no reality.'

The broken teacup sits sadly on the garden table
Wearing tarnished stains and hardened sugar decorating
the sides
There's a bracken coloured moss that's resting at the bottom
Saddened by the wastefulness and ready for the bin
The half empty teacup sits regretfully on the bedside table
It wears a scarlet lipstick kiss that lays upon the lip
A hand print caresses the curved handle and the teaspoon
lays in the saucer
Saddened by the coldness and wishing it were full
The cup of tea sits proudly on the table
Full to brimming and letting off a fragrant steam
Luring with a hot temptation and a desire to be drunk
With soft white crystals that sweeten on the tongue
But saddened by the emptiness that surely comes

Ballad
Looking at the mirror with good day’s pleasure
I see slothfulness’ glamour gripping me with delight’s leisure
Yet ready to attack my sense of honor for me to defy time-worth’s treasure
So defiant; not a generous donor offering me gift that costs much pressure!
Now, I challenge you, my indolent suitor, upon your procrastination’s grandeur
I’m aware of your wastefulness’ color since my schedule you want to injure
I fight you for putting me in meaninglessness’ rigor against unjustified torture
Dampening my work-ardor by your entertainment-indulgence culture!
Face now my determination fervor straightening your laziness-posture
I vanquish your terror that’s underestimating my devotion-measure
See how I combat fruitlessness’ horror in striving for a productive future
While trusting God with His grace-anchor, I press on by His might so sure!
Don’t shake me with doubts’ tremor; I confront you upon truth’s nurture
You'll be overtaken by my Conqueror… just prepare for a painful capture
Never dare me; you’re a deceitful actor trapped inside reality’s exposure
I’m controlled by the Victor Who has mastered very well human nature!
Along my stewardship’s armor, I smite you with discipline-censure
Having the Lord’s good favor... I win against your lethargic displeasure
Upheld by His strong succor, I subdue your destructive gesture
Trained by my champion Mentor... I arise toward faith-performance venture!
Thus, by diligence-motor, ...you, spirit of the sluggard*, I adjure
Yield to the task-commander’s tenor …follow work-ethics’ procedure
Escape from vanity’s galore …be prodded to toil and endure
Girded by hardships’ candor …stand up with zealousness-feature!
Opponent of losing savor, Surrender your worthless seizure for healthy cure
Accept that you’re beaten by genuine labor midst your impatience-tenure
I thank my Savior for righteous valor making me win on persistence juncture
Guided constantly by the Director, I persist in His triumphant service-pasture!
*Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

We throw away everything
We produce too much
We damage the earth
We do ourselves a great harm
A wasteful society we are
We use up and pollute
Sparing no thought for tomorrow
Earth is a bountiful place
It can meet our needs
If we treat it well
The use but don't reuse mentality
Does everyone no good
The mountains of waste we produce
Are vast enough to have their own post code
An unsightly spectacle
That scars the planets face
We forget that every supply chain
Has its limit
Our insatiable appetite for the new
The latest gadget
Or a coveted hyped up upgrade
Far out paces our planets resources
Or our ability to make efficient use
Of these sort after short term objects
Economics rules the day
Ecology takes a back seat
As we wantonly take from
An overworked mother nature
The law of Supply and Demand
States that one day
With galloping use
The well will run dry
A day that draws ever close
Technologically advanced as we are
We use resources most inefficiently
New is better than recycled
Destruction is cheaper than conservation
Policies abound to offer some reprieve
They are watered down
And thus offer limited scope for viable change
Our next generation will be bequeathed
A planet on its knees
Today's actions have lasting sometime
Irreversible reactions
We may find ourselves truly humbled
When the communal larder is bare
A Malthusian implosion
But will we even care?
Use up all
That is our mantra
Controlling of nature is man’s silly goal
A Canute he wishes to be
Efficient use of resources is a must
Modern society does think
This is best for primitive man
Whose wants trail behind his needs
Consumption and Wastefulness
Are the useless badges
Of our advanced society
Man’s needs are many
But must be tamed
No need to be a tree hugger to comprehend
The dire straits we are in
Is our end nigh?
Wiped out by flood once we
Will one day go up in flames
Global warming it seems is not
Just a scholarly debate
When will we heed the warning?
When will we use less?
When will we recycle more?
No one knows
The earth is resilient
I am sure it will definitely bounce back
We all must do our bit
If we wish to continue
To inhabit this place

Silent, dawn crept low and solemn
Over the Virginia valley
The misty orange haze of a pale sunrise
Cloaking the farmer's field
Blue and Gray, mixed with red
Life fleeing with each labored breath,
Stillness broken only by
The rattle of death's leave
Mother Earth sorrowfully accepts
The pain, the regret, the wastefulness.
Generations lost forever,
Over the cornfields of Antietam.

Ballad
Vibrations splinter and echo off of the walls of this bare and empty room
Silence interrupted.
I sit staring up at the ceiling fan as it spins.
Drifting farther into the void, until all I hear is noise.
Until all I hear is the low hum of the tv I left on downstairs.
An overused laugh track.
My stomach full of ?Sunday morning?.
Empty waiting.
Empty thoughts.
My mind is, for once, clear.
Transparent overwhelming.
No greater desire than to simply exist.
An existence that's relative.
Outside I hear the steady rumble of cars,
Driving by.
People living lives.
Silence amplified.
Inside, it's getting colder.
My breath is visible
Surroundings are a blur
I try to hold on to the ticking of the clock on the wall.
The sound of time passing.
Precious wastefulness.
I waited for this.
My day full until it's empty.
To be solely in my own mind.
Peaceful silence follows.
No longer feeling hollow.
Fill me to the brim with nothing.
I welcome it.

Message sent by radio
years ago, still traveling.
Perhaps something has received,
perceived, but not answering.
North America was first
to burst voice into void.
All nations followed at last,
our broadcast signals deployed.
Next came pixel video,
movie show in black and white.
King George and Adolph Hitler,
bitter foes commence to fight.
Later we added color,
finely tuned for human eyes.
Now our signals form a sphere
of one hundred light-year size.
Did we broadcast woe and strife
that other life could detect?
Our mistakes make me wonder
what answer we should expect.
Have they heard it all before,
murder, war, and wastefulness?
From Earth the same message sent:
We’re sentient yet senseless.
Message sent by radio
years ago, still traveling.
Perhaps something has received,
perceived, but not answering.

August 6 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 46-49
Key Verse – Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR REMINDING US
THAT HE IS GOD, AND THERE IS NONE ELSE
Praise be to God for reminding us that He is God
and there is none else Whose:
Power uplifts weariness, and purpose upsurges worldliness
Promise uproots wantonness, and presence upbears wellness
Plan upheaves wastefulness, and pleasure upholds watchfulness
Provision upkeeps wealthiness, and performance upstages weakness
Prudence upbraids wickedness, and perfection upgrades wondrousness
Isaiah 47:4 Praise be to Lord for being our Redeemer:
Calling us His children through Christ
Covering us with His clothing of compassion
Cleansing us by His crucifixion toward conversion
Counselling us through His calling for our consecration
Caring for us against carnality to conquer by His commitment
Isaiah 48:17 Praise be to the Saviour
for He is our Leader Who:
Teaches us to profit by His provisions
Training us to persevere through His power
Tells us to prosper along His purposeful progress
Tests us to prevail along His providence against perversions
Tries us to prioritize His presence, while performing with His protection
Isaiah 49:26 Praise be to the Creator
for feeding us, nourishing us since He is our:
Redeemer, rescuing us upon repentance
Restorer, re-creating us with His righteousness
Regenerator, renewing us against rebelliousness
Replenisher, rejuvenating us for rejoicing recovery
Reprover, rebuking us along His reproofs toward our rewards. Amen!

December 13 Scripture Meditations Based on 1John 1-2
Key Verse – 1John 1:5 … God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY LIGHT
Thank You for being my light along salvation-assurance
Upon eternal life’s possession and grand deliverance
Despite sinfulness’ afflicting burden midst guilt’s endurance…
Thus, I should be compassionate to win souls with perseverance
While enjoying Your redemption-insurance.
Thank You for being my light along Scripture-confidence
Upon genuine faith’s inheritance and wise providence
Despite foolishness’ mocking ignorance midst truth’s credence…
Thus, I should be determined to learn Bible principles with prudence
While believing in Your Word-evidence.
Thank You for being my light along sanctuary-worship
Upon sincere gladness’ praises and divine fellowship
Despite worldliness’ inviting friendship midst brethren’s kinship…
Thus, I should be joyful to support church activities with prayer partnership
While yielding to Your workmanship-leadership.
Thank You for being my light along stewardship-faithfulness
Upon eager willingness’ response and earnest decisiveness
Despite wastefulness’ attacking peril midst complacency’s business…
Thus, I should be diligent to bear good fruits with zealousness
While leaning on Your strength-steadfastness.
Thank You for being my light along sacrifice-commitment
Upon devoted love’s expression and peaceful settlement
Despite selfishness’ exalting attitude midst pride’s predicament…
Thus, I should be humble to show meekness with contentment
While delighting in Your presence-fulfillment.
Thank You for being my light along service-bounty
Upon obedient heart’s duty and conscientious accountability
Despite slothfulness’ enticing impact midst progress’ prosperity…
Thus, I should be available to render best work with productivity
While labouring for great commission-functionality.
Thank You for being my light along sufficiency-satisfaction
Upon timely supply’s sustenance and gracious provision
Despite doubtfulness’ vexing threats midst crises’ escalation…
Thus, I should be prepared to share spiritual blessings with conviction
While trusting Your power-action.

Butterfly whims
As I think only of him
The rapture of his undying charms
Choking back the tears while cradled in his arms
Swallowing the fears, upon Locus’ wings
I fly, I flutter, coming apart at the seams
Anguished, all a fluster, my soul splits in two
I ponder upon which side I should choose
All this wishful thinking, my will succumbs
Bitterness, wastefulness, I am undone
Thinking, shrinking, in the love of you
Just a little love, a little hope, I come unglued
Confused, disoriented, I am amiss a great change
Warped dimensions, within this madness I remain
Happiness disarming
A vortex with few encounter truths
Incinerated, scorching fires, a make up of hidden rules
A dark angel, the shadow of light
His kisses, his heart, he will not be denied
Wistfulness, betrayal, sucking me in
Void, this empty space, the black corners of sin
Reign over this soul distant, jaded
Will I not find my heart?
Now, before it tears the both of us apart
Surreal, unfortunate, late in the game
That I should awaken of the past
Before I cause more pain
Treacherous copies of the self
Torturous heart falls into this self made hell
Once deprived of love, now received
Held captive as I fail to believe
Wavering, an innocent heart torn
Nothing lost, reborn, in a haze I mourn
Devastated, my mind devoured, I break into tears
All for the love of him… My life, my essence
I vanish into thin air.

After all these ,we are all but a dust ,
Struggle to survive this present distrust
Our leaders have taken us for a ride ,
Affluence ,ego and wastefulness they pride.
Youth cried in silence for no one to trust ,
After all these ,we are all but a dust ,
Poverty reigns supreme in our nation ,
As some try to change to a new station .
Waywardness ,sadness and greed are abound ,
A cure to this craze has not been found ,
After all these ,we are all but a dust ,
Go to the morgue and see how people rust .
Feel pain in my heart as I write this write ,
Who will remove this tumor and do right?
Fake faces!, my heart is full of disgust ,
After all these ,we are all but a dust .

OUR OBEDIENCE TO HIM
