Best Wast Poems
Oh seed of Dante, dost thy path
in mid-life's turning gone astray
upon a sylvan darkness hath
to tread a rut with feet of clay?
Wast thou that youth of virtue pure
who bargained not with Judgment Day
untempered green convictions sure
before life's tests induced decay?
Didst compromise and circumstance
thy dreams of glory put away
to promise them a second chance
if thou but wouldst concede delay?
Rejoice upon thy wisdom learned!
With youth's illusions purged away
there's still a kingdom to be earned.
Persist, persist, and find the way!

Oh! Open mine eyes Lord, so I may see,
Thee in all of Thy wonderous glory!***
"Once I was spiritually blinded by sin,
often I pleaded Thee about mine
habitual sins! That Thou in all of Thy
mercy and grace, would not hid Thy
face from me.***
Once I gave freely unto Thee, my
Golden Keys to unlock my heart's
Door! What wondrous blessings
have been in store for me!***
Open mine eyes, Lord, open my mine eyes.
Freely I beseech Thee to wipe away all
of mine tear drops from mine eyes!***
Oh how I have suffered! Oh have I cried
For Thee to take time to listen to mine
humble prayers. But I took a little turn
around, I found Thou wast always there,
all of the time.***
Open mine eyes, Lord, open mine eyes.
Wash all of mine away, cleanse and
purify me. Come into mine heart, Lord!
Wash away all of mine habitual sins
away into the darkest sea of misery.***
Open mine eyes, Lord, so I may see.
What wonderful blessings you have in
store for me. Thou hast given unto me.
Thy free gift of everlasting life. For I
hast passed from the kingdom of
death and darkness into Thy Kingdom
of life and light***
Open mine eyes, Lord, so I may see.
The death angel, Satan, hast no
power over me. And canst not take
my soul and spirit away! Hallelujah!
Praise Thee Lord, I am saved! ***
When my time comes to depart from
Thine earth and enter into Thine
kingdom of love and life.***
At last two of Thine Heavenly angels
will escort me into Thine heavenly
paradise! "All that will be Glory
Glory for me!" Hallelujah!***
Jesus Thou art mine!***
Love in Christ Jesus!

Dramatic Verse
You Played with my emotions
You Played with my life
you took away the only thing
i ever seemed to have
you used me and even abused me
you left me blinded and hopless
you betrayed me and rejected me
forgot the love i once gave you
Now days go by and i sitll remember
why cant i just seem to forget you
why does your name run through my brain
I dont know
bloddy tears seem to slip
they drip and fall and even poor down
Your name is not forgotten
now that i've brought it back to reality
i dont need you i never did
this was all pointless
it was all just a wast of time
i will love again
just not now
but forever i will stay
true to myself

A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!
Wast penned by The Bard of Avon of course!

Slain by a crossbow 'tis said

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Although she was nay forthright,
Shakespeare wast somewhat polite,
But saw through her nefarious high jinks!

"Omen"
The throat holds
untold secrets
like a chamber
holds bullets
a silent question mark
wrapped around
the speaking,
changing gears
full throttle
far reaching
like a noose
over sunbeams
the ropes
for net cast
morsel charms
upstroke downstroke
Ariel beckons
the purpose
of lions for love
into his shadowy arms
"hush", he says,
"the Long Night,
I see aflame in your eyes
like a burning bed
is still warm,
wingspan of goose
dreams of a swan
misunderstood albatross
good and bad
omen,
bluebirds forewarned
an alter
covered with blood
awaiting its phoenix
like star of the morn
paradise
found and lost
lost and found
paradise"
forewarned.

"Things unattempted yet in Prose or Rhime.
And chiefly Thou, O Spirit, that dost prefer
Before all Temples th' upright heart and pure,
Instruct me, for Thou know'st; Thou from the first
Wast present, and with mighty wings outspread
Dove-like satst brooding on the vast Abyss
And mad'st it pregnant: What in me is dark
Illumin, "

Narrative
Life's too short
To live in the past
It's too short
You never know how long it'll last
One day you're small
Holding your father's hand
You're sure no one will let you fall
You're lost in your own dreamland
You grow up faster and faster
You start to see and realize
You grow bolder and stronger
You start to see judgement in people's eyes
You don't want help anymore
You're sure you know what you're doing
You close the door
On all advice, you start to wonder where you're going
As facts hit you in the face
It's almost hard to breathe
You're trying to keep up with the pace
But all the hardships bury you underneath
You start to miss what you had
When you had someone who cared
You start to feel sad
You start to feel empty of the love they shared
But someone comes out and says
You're stuck in the past
You're living in the haze
Time is running out, you better move fast
It's then that you're sure
That life's not forever
You open the door
You're never shutting it again, never
You walk out into the future
All the possibilities there are
You smile at life
You know you're not going to wast another hour
So before you go
You make a lasting impression
On the world and let your talent show
Finally you're satisfied and embrace the end
With no hesitation because you reached your destination
Life's too short
To live in the past
It's too short
You never know how long it'll last.

Light Verse
They claim the grass
Is always greener on the other side
But there is no grass just a beach and the tide
They say you never know whats around the corner
I do big Ada she's rough I have to warn ye
They say I've lost my mind but i don't mind.
They say don't put all your eggs in the same basket
I dont I keep them in a casket
They say there's plenty more fish in the sea
That maybe ok for fishermen but not for me
They say lightening never strikes twice
They have never wore a suit of Armour on a motorbike
If you go out in the cold dressed like that
You'll catch a cold
Who threw it to catch to hold
You've got too many fingers in too many pies
I haven't got no pies something wrong with their eyes
Carrots are good for your eyes
Not if they are stuck in them
A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush
i would have never thought as much
You always hurt the one you love
Not me I hit them with feather gloves
Time is a great healer
I've had a clock on my head
But I'm still ill in bed
You cant turn back time
I can with mine
No room to swing a cat
Well swing a rat that'll take care of that
Diamonds area girls best friend
Well I must be a diamond
Eat your greens or you'll never grow up
What about your reds browns yellows tea in your cup
Laughter is the best medicine
Not if your dying
Wast of time trying
Every star has a silver lining
But no ones been to a star so forget that finding
Money doesn't grow on trees
Of course not they just grow leaves
They say to fall asleep
Count sheep
Bit what do sheep count humans
Bobs your uncle
I haven't got an uncle Bob
I;d sped my lady penny on you
Is that all that wont do
They'll stab you in the back
Not if your facing them
The customers always right
Do you let them win
In a fight.

O' Lucifer, thou wast the bright and shining Star
Archangel of the highest heaven
Thou wast the seal and sum perfection
Thy wisdom and thy beauties glory
Adorned with every precious stone
The workmanship of thy music
Wast prepared at thy creation
Thou anointed Cherub who covers
Established in thy seat of honor
Upon the holy mount of God
Walking to and fro
Through the midst of fiery stones
Thou wast perfect in thy ways
From the day thou wast created
Til iniquity was found in thee
Thy violence and profanity
Thy sin of vanity
As thy heart was lifted up in pride
Because thou lovest thine own self
Thy wisdom wast corrupted
For the sake of thine own splendor
How art thou fallen!
O' Lucifer!
Thou son of the morning!
Cast to the ground
Where fire shall devour
Devouring fire from thy midst
Thou art become as man
Dust and ashes
Thou art astonishment
Terror and horror
Thou shalt be no more
Forever.

Together they live happily forever
in a life filled with sorrows and sadness
they will be together, always never
excluded from reality for life
Forever or never they live to cry,
away they will be gone with but a knife
the choice to live happily or to just die
A knife or life, forever or never
a quarrel, a death, leaving one alone
he lies on the ground, a knife in his heart
a plan, a scheme, its never to be known
She says to herself "we must never part"
Now two dead hearts lie, killed with the same knife
Why? Was it love or just a wast of life?

With you I want to have a word,
Thou immor(t)al bird!
No angry generation
Can tread thee down:
Thou wast not born for death.
Thou art indeed a riddle on earth.
People seem to like other creatures
But not you, your function or features:
You have wings, but are not called a bird.
You can sing, yet not called a songbird!
You have regaled Thoreau
With your requiem, though.
You always have the better of the human,
Outwitting the Crown of creation!
One of the cleverest of creatures are you,
And the prototype, it’s true,
Of the dinosaur and brontosaurus extinct
And an expert in blitzkrieg by instinct.
You can make human life on earth a hell
And can sometimes sound our death knell!
You are not at all guilty
Of the undistributed-middle!
Is it because you thus diligently
Go forth and multiply,
That God loves you so amply?
And made you his analogue and alter ego?
Omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient, as you know?
And wanted you on the Voyage, too,
Even though Noah, I'm told, was against i?
Above all, you are a teacher great.
For, you teach us all a lesson best:
Survival of the fittest!
Little bird, to you I bow:
Never can I forget or forgive you, though!

The new sun hath risen again and shone
O beauteous sun, its flawless perfection it hath shown.
Thus light from it wast of haven impeccably urged,
For the destiny of its evil deeds’ concomitant wast yet purged.
None hiatus in the mist of its smirk to bepaint its gross,
Nor that that it loved so dear, so soon in oddly loss;
To shine t’other side wast its splendour but nought its wish
Nor to scald so deep to clear mistemper’d waterfalls upon earthly dish;
And never to wither the grass in the rejoicing forest,
But to make it lucid of aridness in the brawl against the worst:
The sight of its rays hath misgiven yet some consequence of despise,
Which somewhat didst profane pilgrims all made to paradise.
God asked: ’Sun, would thou likest to pray and die or livest and eat pie?’
The sun smirked, portentous in its tyrannous chariot; and chose to die.

Sonnet
My rose, my soul, my heart's delight,
Such treachery this wintry night!
My fathers men hath taken thee
And I know not if thou'llst e're be free.
A spy was in the wood that day
When I met with thee and at last did say
How you set me alight with thy smile and thy voice;
How I'd gladly wed thee, were I given a choice.
The man heard my confessions and fled to the king
And said, "Noble sire, dire news I must bring!
Thy son the lord prince is smitten indeed.
But 'tis a peasant girl who has sown love's seed."
As prince I may not marry as I might wish.
Ah! wealth and pow'r are a bittersweet dish.
This is the reason thou wast sent away
But I will come swiftly as soon as I may.
By AnnikaOakinnA
I now gather men who'll support my endeavour,
Who're loyal to me, and we'll all stick together.
We'll whisk thee away, and then thee and I'll marry.
But we must do it quick, not a moment to tarry.
Once we are wedded in Our Father's eyes
My father shant dare bring about our demise.
He'll have to accept that one just can't stand by
And watch, as their love is dispatched to the sky.
And my love, thou'llt be queen! Ah! sweet heavens all bless.
Thou'll be marvelous indeed in thy coronation dress
As in any other, of any shape or hue.
Such is thy beauty, because, I love you.
