Autumn's Breeze

Crisp Autumn seeps through the day
Dew balances a fresh cut blade

Tangerine skies seethe God's Grace
Summer's vehment blaze...replaced

Slipping sweetness around my pillow
Cool winds dance with weeping willow

Stars twinkle down through thick dense trees
As spirits dance in fresh Autumn's breeze

Dancing In the Rain

Large pearl water drops drip from the sky

Fall onto my skin

Slide down my body

Large pearl water drops drip from the sky

Making my clothes stick

Securing my hair to my face

Large pearl water drops drip from the sky

Forming puddles for me to splash in

Quenching Earth's thirst

Large pearl water drops drip from the sky

Illuminous bolts of lightening light up the sky

Loud beats of thunder tremble down from the sky

All this making a storm

Trying to ruin my day

But I know how to dance in the rain

-Note...Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain

I Wish I Could

I wish I could dance forever,
And then I would stop never.

Like the light on my window sill,
Dance to the end in a frock with a frill.

Dance like a graceful peacock in the rain,
I'll be as proud a lion is of his mane.

Dance, dance, dance till my feet drop off,
All my sorrow I will laugh off.

All my pain I will forget,
For when I dance I do feel great.

I wish I could dance forever and ever,
And then I would stop never.......

Special Time

When in a weakened state I fall
You lift me to my feet
It is not for other eyes to see

When I cry at Your feet
When I sob on the floor
It is not for other eyes to see

This time is so special
             This time for us alone
It is not for other eyes to see

When I’m gaining my most strength
It comes when I am here
It is not for other eyes to see

So before You I sing praises
And I dance as David danced
For it is not for other eyes to see

My heart is full of love
               My spirit soars high above
All the adversity that there may be

Truly my heart sings with joy
As my feet dance for You
For this is just for You and me

When I praise You, Lord
When I dance before You, Lord
It is not for other eyes to see

You make this our special time
A time I hold so dear
It is not for other eyes to see

Dance Me Into Delight

Rock me like a thunderbolt
Or simply let us drift away
Let the music give a jolt
Maybe make us dip and sway

Let the notes take us on over
To that place we crave to be
Twirl me 'round the dance floor lover
Spin me baby, two-step me!

So rock me like there's no tomorrow
Or hold me close and murmur sweet
We'll dance away our care and sorrow
Rhumba me right off my feet!
