Fata Morgana

"Fata Morgana"

feet hardly touch the ocean
when silent stars of no voice
transmit words to pay the ferryman
on the water no reflection

gently the sun waves smiling as if to say
feel that, the warmth of waking sleep
no fear of what remains hidden
it will unravel from inside that which is all too deep

walking towards you across the briny mist
from ancient stories forgotten
a halo of St Elmo’s Fire surrounds
it stands still for a short while before you

watching

you,
walking water with your bare feet

faith in dreams consistent in their constancy
that visit you when you are complete yet incomplete
holds out its hand to lead the way across
sharp burning rocks, now a desert, climbing mountains that are steep

a small life crumbles to powdered sand
more than 40 days silent gone astray
years the turning of untimed tides pretence
meets a haunting vision beckoning, new horizon, odd unclear

safe harbour left long ago,
lost in that ornery time, cursed by flying monkeys' bellows
of bloodletting and betrayal, stock still, standing amidst the shallows
somewhere along the way dark narcissus followed

what breaks over the bow
washes all stern fear away
sacred wings of albatross
ne’er to be sacrificed, no more night nor day

souls of ancient mariners
forever follow me, even when I stray
the rich baritone of bedtime stories
messages in code conveyed, I hear them still today

now swallows spooning spinnakers
running directly before wind and sea
the water turns to wine, much stranger the belief,
all manna of trust it feeds

bells tolling

no man’s an island entire of itself
in unusual reckonings
observing swimming hearts, that hear and see
the eyes that melt, this more curiously

in truth, the dream defends

messages eternal
life it never ends
tides move in and out
never alone when we begin

fata morgana
softly the moon ascends

"Under a splintered mast,
torn from ship and cast
              near her hull,

a stumbling shepherd found
embedded in the ground,
              a sea-gull

of lapis lazuli,
a scarab of the sea,
            with wings spread—

curling its coral feet,
parting its beak to greet
            men long dead."

As Time Stood Still

My pen finds pause
my body is broken,
a weighted horror
cleaves my breast

The strings of hope sliced
as I put dreams to the sword,
but hands now whisper to stars
across a fabric brushed heaven

Tomorrow is a lie of mysteries
today is in the now of knowing,
Like burning comets the pain
thrashes into my hearts core

A journeys end now nears
the roads all find dead ends,
revived from a morass of mourning
eyes are filled with oceans

A dirge plays and dances
in a procession free of flesh,
as shadows carry me home
infinitesimal tears find silence

I am weary of time
I've smashed the clocks
crushed every watch
tick tocks, now stopped

With the enemy defeated
I forge ahead untimed,
wild and finally free
uncaged from fear and doubt

In truth tomorrow has been
gone in thousands of minutes,
the sandman flies in golden dust
that's now sparkling my eyes

In sleep I shall find eternities gate
holding it open yet never entering,
until your hand slips into mine
time my love will stand in my mind

Until we meet again ...

The King of Hades

The king of hades came and rode
And split thousands many throat
From the body of men and women who float
On the blue rhyme-singing water in boat
And the massacre continued into the large city
Crushing all the dried lilies
And drawing blood from the body of innocent farm-boys who looked tacky
And from the royal kids from a blossoming family
And from all others that are not or more than wealthy
The king of hades came and rode through all living bodies
And made them in a blink of the eyes and a pump from the lungs a breathless sleeping body
Many a women were left with an open abdomen
And some mercy-untimed killings for the men
And some more ruthless savage for the salvagers in the den
For priests are a torn face and cracked skull
For town-criers; arrows were stuck into their guts
And for many anonymously unknown, they were greeted by cold-death on swords
And for animals, some had their belly torn
And some killed by spilling a drain of blood; from a stab of their own horn
And birds who had their skin burnt
And fishes who in black boiling oil were drowned
The beautiful horror scene filled with terror is more than the eyes can afford
And more than nature could afford
What more for, what more before
The king of hades came and killed thousands, and infinity, and many more

Premium Member An Untimed Shower

Seafoam dreams massage deep into my scalp,
as uncomely thoughts drift drain-ward destined.
A warm, white noise water rush of comfort
cradles me back to the days of my womb home,
with the only goal of growing and thriving.

Snow

The untimed snow rushed insulted against the glassed shoulders on the poster,
and they were made of paper, they were bare…
It cried, scalded, on the painted, colorful faces,
and they were made of paper, they were bare…
Its outraged tears transformed into tears of joy,
and through them they were still smiling,
not caring for the bitter cold,
in defiance of the delayed spring,
Because they knew,
It could not wash away their colors,
It could not cover their bare shoulders.

Premium Member Self-Destruction

Long ago in the not too distant future, whence temporal tense was but a phase,
I found myself afloat inside my head, from where I feared I'd fall within its haze.

Trapped by the door on the ceiling of my cranium's oubliette,
Where light had broken yonder windows worn by Juliette.

The pneumatic nebula of neurosis had bubbled and bursted in form of wicked psychosis,
Inspiring psychiatric summons and prescribed pills privy to such professional diagnosis.

Schizophrenic entelechy of the dopamine dripping upon a scalp's sedated skin,
Had enlightened my mind to see that which inside had neither yet to end nor to begin.

Varieties of verisimilitude art had been invited by the venomous arriviste,
I became to seek in euphoric ecstasy; the self of which those swallowed does consist.

And whence the nuance of unrequited redamancy diverted its loving chance,
Entropy of the heart entrapped me in its congestive and failing rhythmic trance.

Alas, the serendipity of ataraxy has been stripped from my cold crying hands,
As I'm shaved into a homunculus machine ticking on an untimed glass of sand.

Untimed
Untamed
In the face of a thousand horsepower
Up rises the man of the hour
His passion peaked
His focus tweaked
Raw
Pure
He spins and loops
Whirlpools each lap
Egos over rev
An enchanted V-twelve
The archangel
Fallen to enthral
Thrusts his sword through my wall poster
In a chariot mounted a motor
The Red Baron
Supercharged to slay the dragon
A German craftsman
Piloting the air bending chicane
Driven around his own soundtrack
Blazing the chequered flag
Atop the podium
A mesmerised coliseum
A roar like an earthquake
A Danke!
A gold medallion to his bullion
Akin to Hamilton
A well formulated campaign
In a splash of champagne
A force of nature in his prime
Inspired in me
A shockwave like a tsunami
You beat the clock Schumi

An Ode To Modern Warfare

Early this morning, as I walking down to my lesson
I passed my Irish colleague returning from a Shakespearean session
Perhaps still thinking about the Bard, the King and the fool
As he gingerly traversed the minefield that is Simba School.

Oh! Mines and missiles inundate this scholastic terrain
And on one’s agility do place much physical strain
For teachers must side-step discarded bags and litter
Or the ballistic speed of some gossip-crazed critter.

Such is the volatility and unpredictability on this battleground
That careless missilery does ruthlessly abound
Ready for another, untimed, dubious, un-aimed at launch
That might sock our Economist upon his paunch.

Of course, primitive methods, such as those David used
Might upon our historian or accountant be abused
As a bag-load of books might catapult through the air
And catch you on the forehead, full and square.

It’s a battleground, this, the halls of Simba School
Where “badly-uniformed” guerillas vociferously rule!

Passing Whispers

Waves of fractures streak through us
but reside close by
Unsung deeds disguised as if no one would know
They grow naturally...
Sands of untimed dishonesty lining retracted vows,
seeking empty hour-glasses...
And feeding crevices some call
our fate rendered

We stretch the sands to weave staggered steps...
Freeze our gait
when such sapping moments cease to abide
our intricate tryst,
Replicate the fractures
when our void ceases to inspire substance...

Call on words we know face a spring,
yet no fall
A trendy swing...
but not a rhyme

Assign remaining symbols
to deflatable tasks
Alluring intent...
to passing whispers

When taking a stroll on a path filled with weeds the force fields are often not symmetrical nor are they aligned. But the shining synchronization of a sky lit sun cap can capsulize even the most untimed meal of a thought. Highlighting highways higher huge harboured harbours. In harnesses. Take no injected curd as a shirt. And generally imprisonment of bows and arrows is considered to be as detrimental as flying on the back of an air rifle or an a k 47. Into a bin. Ten ton heifers wobbling in dainty dresses. Passing posting pointing picking painting. And get a rolling pin, ten irons and ironing boards then iron output accordingly for to adjust a headdress is to float upside down in a force 209 gale over the side of a cliff holding one ear of corn, a basket, a little snail in a straw hat, and a 2000 foot ladle. Great isn't it. Wow. Wisdom wow. Week not a wreck. And wreckage is utilised in one single breath of an ancient storytelling form chanting in a mist. Seen and unseen. 5 b c. And then 13 52. And then 18 75 . And on an on an on and on. Whirling. Wave no kettle at a tree of iron mesh. And always make a nice carve in a cave. Wine arches marbles. Marvellous magnification isn't it. Gossiping grapes grabbing greedily. And a saintly seaweed arrives. Also in bed is an underwater charismatic chant. Charming. And one single 5 acres of a pickled onion can boil and burst. Digital dropping. Xxxxx cumbersome Cumberland Chambersburg clamp championship. And a dormant duck spinning. So rise and taste the heavily encrusted dew ball of a nice light fruit stew. I Am Taking Back the Words

His thoughts are racing.
He is a clever man.
Adverse winds a-chasing.
Eagles soaring with command.

Mere trampling of this soil,
a massive anthill built.
We mourn the young man’s untimed? death,
the unseen had him ill.
Distant wheels are screeching - Bang!
Man-made let her down.
I’m taking back the words I said.
I saw it made you frown.

Wisdom?
Sacred blood coursing my veins.

My thoughts;
Eagles soaring with command
Exalting Her
and what by God was made.

Clusters of refugee bubbles
Expelled from the side of my tank
         Rise expanding in upward travels
         Escaped depths, burst at surface

         Forging against their vigour
         Persuasive stream broken
         by my bulky silver body
         Interrupting incoming ongoing

         Enthusiastic thousands
         Spurts of filter flung hum
         Tickle my sheer cycling fins
Tell me to nose dive again

         Breaking trails of oxygen globes
Until Billy Bully Salmon slices in
         Languid flicks follow frantic fro
         Gyrating spotty specimen vie

Lunch pellet plops induce swished thrashing
Tumult on top flung untimed as ocean fury
Gaping lips capable of feeding incidentally
Cylindrical home groans, crowded by peers

Graduates from Tank Eight are due soon
To meet with intention, purpose imposed
Sight of orange net scooping candidates
Occasions mayhem, frenzied to catch bus

I surge with the fastest, fattest prime
For my place in net destiny
          Overexposed oxygen exhausts me
Begins cressendo to deliver my bounty

Dry eyed tribute to nurtured practice honed
         My splatting undulations
         boast industry success
Cod calls me to lemon rained plate haven

         Farmed fellows raised by deliberation
         Egg nursery, microscopic sluge whirls
Infuse infant entire crew with dedication
To feed, to fulfil, crisp silver skin served

If you think eating me equals ocean depletion
You'll be pleased to imbibe controlled science
Take it from me, fat salmon, Raymond
I am desperate to get in your gut!

My reason for existence is to be ravished
          Don't reject majestic fish - re-examine
The pearly peach flesh down throat glide
          Indulge charitable fridge wrapped salmon

Premium Member Cilantro's Molest

Delicately smoke stacks rose in tendrils
From my lobotomised mind, tracks of steam
Channels which searched for surrendour
Teased unfamiliar air aflame, eventual glean

Chances which blind chases never uncovered
Now relaxed stance soul caresses confirm
Worth in the venture for connections recovered
Ratified tangible textures of trust returned

Sharply sprung tongue sprig of marjoram burst
Sends corresponding signals sweet salty
Cardboard dry enclosure summoned my thirst
Seasoned with fish fall apart white sultry

Flipped on my untrained pallette, ripe silk drips
Nourished throat thrums an unsung tempo
New reward captured bite butters impatient lips
Slippery flesh accosts a switched off depot

Aniseed's dark unrivalled flavour pinnacle
Nasal travelled spice kidnaps bland indecision
Abrupt acetic fingers, processing difficult
Held captive by capers strange punch derision

Ambience clink clanks cutlery's untimed tune
Calls faithful patronage who pay in blood
Inner soft lobsters promise flesh of high noon
Claw shards pave a love path summoned

Premium Member Mammoth Drift

Taken sideways, swept as a web strung spider
Sand sugar legged staggered specimen lured by weightless
Drifters soon to be lifted by unruly tide's violent
Fears ditched for the squall enthrall of ocean fizzed caress

Bolstered by booming blue brew, cork floated
Swell surmounts without pattern or rationale, contankerous
Bobbed from below, five foot heads promoted
Bounced jack in boxes sprung from rolling realm rapturous

By tide's untimed tumult, sea steamed unite
Sapphire stew participants simmer, softening vegetables
Drawn to next wily wave, crest conquer delight
Drag of salt soaked slow motion moon cascade incredible

Roaring turquoise rise, crumb humans crafted
Into toys at mercy of lapis lazuli, control's essential revoke
Track formation, tremor with desirous laughter
Brought to cool commotion by compulsion utterly unspoke

Premium Member Fancy That

Fancy that?
You didn’t think?
Fancy that?
You didn’t care?

Years alone with only you to feed my solitude of despair
Years alone, in my mind planning your hurt - some evil kind!

Fancy that?
It never sailed through your mind!
Fancy that?
You never thought of my boy in all this time?

Look at him in this photograph
Look at him smiling - he was about to laugh!

Look at that face, look at them eyes
You stole me of that, you took away my only treasured prize!

Wait! Your eyes have glazed - you cannot die!

Fancy that?
This is my life!
Giving you a heart attack was not my prize!

Fancy that?
Revenge untimed!
