Best Unshaken Poems
Even through the darkest days, my faith remains unshaken
There's not a day that passes, that I'm ungrateful for each blessing
I understand that we all face trial and tribulations
And I believe, that nothing is placed on us that would break us
So I keep my head up, like they said, and keep praying
But still everyday I'm waking up to face the same issues
And I'm starting to get frustrated, and I'm feeling crazy
So if you hear me God, my God, please save me
I feel like I owe you lifetimes, for all the times, that I spent away from you
But know that even when we weren't speaking, that I did not forsake you
And I know that you'll forgive me and still walk by my side
It may not look like it, but I'm giving my all for this life
If I could go back in time I would take the path that you'd placed for me
Instead of erasing it with all the same temptations that now make me
I wanna feel your strength lift me up, and your grace that's nothing short of amazing
So if you hear me God, my God, please save me.

“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” - Jon Kabat-Zinn
Time has an interesting
way of revealing
riveting narratives,
embossed within ivory
clams in raven letters,
perhaps, it is the
crippling kismet,
that dahlia dreamers are
shackled by society’s
sanctimoniousness,
but I still follow my
roseate heart to swiftly
lead this pristine paragon
of moving minutes.
I can hear the wanton
wolves devour the
magnanimous moon,
transcribing unheard
nocturnal tales, emanating
through deep russet
eyes of a silent stallion~
as I leave poetic footprints
through heels of a black
caviar horse by
the nacreous shoreline.
Someday, the sun will rise
and allow me to embrace
colors of you again,
although torturous tentacles
of marine monsters malevolently
try to steal the soothing hope
within my soul,
from a thousand seas away.
If only they knew, skies
can reach beyond
prancing peacock dreams
emblazoning distant horizons,
with a plethora of
milky quartz, perfumed
in whispers of lemongrass,
reflecting silvery echoes
of a cosmic whale’s conch shell,
floating in an ancient bottle
of antique emotions,
anchored to the depths
of bottomless oceans,
where corals have
our fate rewritten
within chambered nautilus.
So, wait for me when
twilight dims, and meteor
showers come crashing,
to pour blazing stars
upon lime green planktons,
for my soul is surfing
through aquatic realms,
to find my homely
sanctuary in your arms
glossed in lavender balm,
I breathe beneath seraphic spheres,
devouring the ticking seconds,
dancing to the wind that whispers
in trembling tunes,
unafraid and unshaken
by the unknown.
I live in the moment,
celebrating the air that wraps
me in wisteria warmth.
The sun-soaked stairway
to porcelain
peacefulness,
is to steer your heart,
through the art
of mindfulness.

She has the eyes of a lion and the smile of a fairy
She has the claws of a bear and the cuteness of a kitten
She unlocks secured caves of hearts
In silence she sings summoning mantras
In peace she wages war against the sun
In life she nurses death with her soiled hands
She is a daughter of the soil and she has her lips to my neck
Africa,all I need is love
She walks softly in the sanctuary while she runs through avenues of minds
Those that behold her seductive frame become free slaves
Her curves burst nerves and destroy holy matrimony
In her tongue lies juices that fuel sparks of fire in blood lines
There is something about the way she spreads her wings
Something about the way she walks on water ,it's fishy
She fishes for souls in pools of African emancipation
She is a daughter of the soil and she has her lips to my neck
Africa,all I need is love
Her hands resurrect dead souls while her words kills them
She likes to be liked, her likeness is likable but her shadow is unpopular among my people
She wears expensive robes and cheap shoes
Her paths are straight but her ways are as crooked as the lines on hell's map
She is the candle type, she melts if you are that good
Yet her heart remains strong ,standing unshaken and outstanding
She connects easily with both nature and the underworld
She makes you wonder and understand
She shakes trees like the wind
She conceives in the mind
Her chariot brings forth gold and bronze
She is a daughter of the soil and she has her lips to my neck
Africa,all I need is love

From mouth to ear, from hand to hand
Through persecution in dangerous lands
Jesus is looking for souls
And in response, the heroes of the Gospel shine their light
Most not assigned to war before; called now for the highest of fights
While this most precious fact remains
That at some point they each said to themselves
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Is worth more than my life
And so they ride at the speed of God
As an extension of His mercy
And carrying His law
Way back to Acts of the Apostles
There have been heroes of the Gospel
Through gladius and lion's teeth
Through torture, fire and unbelief
There weren't too many hearts unshaken
When heroes prayed for their assailants
They wear the chains that don't unlock
They've preached the word from chopping blocks
But they would never feel whole
If they weren't trying to save souls
Way back to Acts of the Apostles
There have been heroes of the Gospel
Until the enemy is toppled
There will be heroes of the Gospel!
Matthew 16:18 KJV
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Rhyme
Staring in the mirror when I'm down with these scissors I found.
With my wrists out and prescription lids littered around.
I've scribbled out a bitter letter in wicked accounts and written down twisted sentences in crimson.
I drown in no bounds it got me tripping out grouchy for outlets.
Now my hound pulls at my trousers.
When I'm face down drowsy with a mouth full of downers.
I'm pale looking clownish.
I ain't clowning around, see my self esteem floundering.
Out for the count as hells demons seen prowling around me proudly twisting and dancing entrancing.
Slipping away fast last vision left glancing enhanced with a mixture of doubt.
Knowing there's no one to laugh with and be found here alone with a sinister frown.
I've got to get out.
Haunted in this mysterious house that time forgot.
A place where damp rises and shrouded in all types of moss and lichen, rotting with the slime from condensation.
A sodden formed Forrest where I'm under sedation.
A clock work decision I watch myself gazing transfixed on my mission across amazing mazes.
As dreams fade into sight I stay silently praying.
Embracing the night watching day light escaping.
Remain in this safe haven I'm taken away safely remaining unshaken, grey and unshaven, eight shades of my aura shadows the ravens.
The creature with talons and the beak of eagle seen clutching a talisman to defeat it's evil.
I see through people. Phycic and tight lipped.
Leaving hindsight to guide you through life is wisest.
Am I dying or buying my time in this crises like I'm finally deep in abyss.
Analysing my past thinking did I even exist.
Forever with bliss since I slipped away tearful
Surviving myself I won't ever be fearfully trapped in this labyrinth with Pan and he knows me ghostly he came close cosey and held me closely through apocalypse start dropping atom bombs not stopping Babylon.
God got him banished like exhiled angels deep into faranheit heat like my minds a scotch bonnet.
The child of the scorch trials in the maze at night.
Was made strict then was bitten by count
Dracula.
Come the blood sucker parasite cancerous spanning round my brain like the legs of a tarantula.
Tendrils gargantuan.
Attaching the canula straight from the ambulance.
Inserting the catheter.
Wired like capacitors.
Body kept alive with 240 volt adaptors.

The Message of The Cross
We are living in a troubled world
Where people’s minds are in great turmoil
Society is alarmed at the divorce rate
And child abuse cases continue to escalate
The fabric of society is shaken
And many are emotionally broken
But one thing that remains unshaken
Is the message of the Cross
Chorus
The Cross offers hope and peace of mind
In Jesus you can gain a life sublime
So if you don’t want to be lost
You must kneel at the cross
Are you alarmed at the calamities around you?
And worried about your job and your future too?
Are you troubled by the diseases of this age?
Are you anxious about paying off your mortgage?
Well, I just really want to let you know
That there is one thing for sure
God will always make a way
If you only look to Him today
It’s the message of the Cross
Chorus
The Cross offers hope and peace of mind
In Jesus you can gain a life sublime
So if you don’t want to be lost
You must kneel at the cross
Now even in your quarantine and lockdown
You can embrace his tranquility and freedom
Do not focus on the things that are earthly
For they are deceitful and only temporary
Just keep your eyes on the Father above
For through Jesus He demonstrated his great love
He was crucified for you and me
And his salvation is rich and free
And that’s the message of the Cross
Chorus
The Cross offers hope and peace of mind
In Jesus you can gain a life sublime
So if you don’t want to be lost
You must kneel at the cross

Lyric
Rainfall excites as the new moonlight slips,
and drop by drop I know my heart is taken
by him , pressing between the mouths and lips
as trickles of first love grow unshaken.
Oh he leaps, enthralled by our pure romance
that I can feel his wonder…to laugh, to tease
igniting bright ardor without resistance,
while drizzles hum tunes of summertime’s breeze.
Gently, rainfall drenches one silhouette
meshed in affection through an evening, kind
till we replay theme songs like a duet,
engrossed in youth's charm, tossing all behind.

Sinking in a deep abyss where hope feels lost,
And dreams slowly dissolve , counting not the cost.
Behold there stands a spirit, undeterred, unshaken,
Let your spirit soar as your passion is awakened.
Through the many trials and when doubts assail,
And tears flow freely like countless raindrops frail,
Be a beacon of strength, with an unwavering flame,
Don't look back but let your dreams remain the same.
The road maybe long and winding as obstacles unfold,
But deep within there's a fire of truths untold.
A spirit that's unyielding as it rises and take its stand,
Ushering the dawn of a new day , for greatness is at hand.
And in those dire moments with burdens seem so vast,
When voices echo all is lost, and time is moving too fast,
With sweat on brow, let your tears be mixed with grit,
With a strong resolve, let the world know, your spirit won't quit.
For in the deep recesses of your heart, lies a warrior's might,
A great will to conquer all and rise in the night,
To boldly face the odds with courage that is so untamed,
And a gateway to your destiny of dreams not maimed.
When doubts whisper softly and beg you to yield,
And darkness encroaches all round making wounds unhealed,
Summon your soul for all its worth and let your resilience awake,
Dare to hold on with all your might for dreams are at stake.
And when this world seems to forget and cast you away,
Remember that you have the strength, you need to face each day.
Don't be discouraged for not even a minute for within you lies,
The power to soar to new heights and reach the skies.
So stand tall with purpose amidst life's cruel tempestuous sea,
And with unwavering fortitude , let your spirit be free,
Embrace every challenge that rears its head,
Don't give up! never back down, press on instead.

She bathes my soul within her
Sanguine waters ardently
Inundating my senses whole
I become upon her embrace
We become one spirit aloof
Within both light and darkness
Depraving sharp hunting eyes
Perceiving the mirrors self image
Of high tribulation chiseled
Stone falling across studio floors
Swept scrupulous and surgically
Transfusing this beauty of essence
Upon the humid air of breath
Sweetly scented floral calling
Across unmeasured distances
Trekked of unfettered resolve
Heightening as you draw close
Tending my wounds unshaken
Confidence in trusting touch
Eases tautness now diminishing
Away flying into night taking
Pieces of you in my pocket
Clutching for hope and strength
Of this blossom rooting deeply
Within one another we discover
All that we behold and feared
I give to you willingly…untainted
Wholly my poetic heartsong
Inscribed within and without
My trusted two thousand miles

A red rose blowing on fidelity's bow
With the glow of grace, affection and love
Alive to afflictions not only for show
Enchanting like poetry, peaceful like dove
An edifice of goodness, embodiment of truth
Epitome of generosity, magnanimous and great
A balm sought after for wounds to soothe
A flame making afflictions evaporate
Neither a praise nor gratitude desires
With me in the horizon of thoughts flies
And even my flaws and faults admires
Unshaken in faith, how hard one tries
Not perfect like angels, not pious like saints
My idol, a human, in entirety
An artwork of excellence may also have dents
But the ocean of friendship be boundless and free
Carve me a red rose, oh chisel of thought!
And dip it in the perfume of features profound
To fit the excellence of model I sought
Let the world say true friendship is found

************************************************
In the spring, sensitive blooms awaken,
Warmth grips as leaves quiver with delight.
Lovers enripen with colors so unshaken,
Painting hearts in shades of dawn light.
Summer appears with a radiant embrace,
Passion boils beneath the broad sunny face.
Time moves as waves in a smooth race,
Souls are bound by the ardent fire of love.
Autumn sighs in the crisp air above,
Flowing from dark to light- tones of dove.
Love ages, but keeps beauty partaken,
Yet love endures, steady and bright.
Reflecting warmth from an inner space,
Over seasons, alteration bears to shove.

Wake up
Stop dreaming
Hear the birds chirping
Thank God for the blessings
Each breath is a gift
Breathe in
Focus on your role
Hit the core with a heart of gold
Stay low-key, no time to envy
Seek discipline
Kneel to the Man who never sinned
Son of God, the true King of kings
The wind is blowing and the rain drop on your skin
Your soul is roaring with the sound of thunder and lightning
Here comes the rainbow
Oh feel the evening breeze
Look at that sunset
The heavens declare His Glory
Shine in the dark
The moon and the night sky reflect fire in your eyes
So wake up and blaze them up
Yeah, we've been astray, deceived and betrayed
Embrace the pain
Be born again
Break the chain
Tend and mend the broken to be the unshaken
Yeah, do or die, you and I, heads held high
Look, morning star His Art is so great
Let's drive through the blue fifth-mile street
Reviving our souls with the sound of gospel beat
Roll down the window
Can you feel the morning breeze?
Here comes the sunrise
The heavens declare His Glory

Ode
Hank had cowboyed and rodeoed fer nigh on forty years,
Ridin' in sleet, rain and snow a-herdin' cantankerous steers.
His hide was tough as leather and his legs was slightly bowed,
But brandin' dogies and fixin' fences was all he ever knowed!
His gut was made of iron from a diet of taters, beans and bacon.
Many times he was throwed from his hoss but his will remained unshaken.
He'd been bit by rattlesnakes and scarred from many barroom brawls,
And kicked by many a skittish bronc while muckin' out their stalls!
When tryin' to halt stampedes, Hank was often gravely gored,
And was hoarse from yellin' and cussin' at that riotous horde.
When shoein' hosses they often left an imprint on his chest,
Where flyin' hoofs landed leavin' him angry and depressed!
He didn't git rich and couldn't hoard money fer a rainy day;
Not much chance of accumulatin' such on a cowpokes meager pay.
His bed was usually 'neath the stars with his saddle fer a pillow,
Sharin' space with his old dog Spike and an occasional armadillo!
One day he up and told the boss, "I've had my fill of a cowboy's life.
I'm a-quittin' as of now. My old bones is weary from all this strife.
I'm saddle sore and tired of bunkhouse livin' and all yer stingin' slurs.
You kin take this job and shove it 'cause I'm a-hangin' up my spurs!"
