On threads of wispy air,
in breathy undertones of political wind,
I can hear the quiet catastrophe,
the quiet ruination of our commonwealth.
I can hear the sleepy madness, turned avalanche
between my ears.

I can hear the quiet catastrophe,
the whispered words of terrorists,
guttural phrases taunted as political incorrectness,
flaunted vacuous nihilism fomenting insurrectionism,
the quiet convulsion of our self-rule.
I can hear the sullen invocation, turned torrent
within my mental models.

On threads of wary air,
in stealthily vengeful murmurs of pretenders,
I can hear the casual, softly spoken demise of justice,
the grim sabotage of governance by principle,
and with it,
the slow dripping blood of all those who died,
all those long forgotten.

The fading ink on parchments spelled out ideals
never attained or practiced in a nation’s history of enslavement
and genocide.

Yet can the people’s ambit even begin without the
enshrinement of these principles for all?

I can hear the quiet catastrophe,
the reckless, feckless conmen concocting hallucinogens.
Conspiracy contagions so easily playing upon, confirming
the jaundiced eyes, so easily validating the invectives of the addicted.

On threads of wispy air,
in breathy undertones of political wind,
I can hear the quiet catastrophe.

Conspiracy Theorists Need To Get a Life

Conspiracy Theorists: Get a Life

By Elton Camp

Conspiracy theories are merely illogical rot
That says most events are due to some plot
But they never explain just how or why
The conspirators are so powerful and sly

Scholars generally don’t believe such a thing
Because conclusive evidence they don’t bring
Contradictory evidence is explained away
It was planted by the conspirators they say

Outlandishly false such beliefs are seen to be
Cranks or the lunatic fringe only can them see
“But our views are being coved up,” they claim
They’ve convinced others to believe the same

As true theories, these claims don’t go very far
Actually, it is only wild speculation that they are
The mainstream report always works just as well
And these “theories,” nothing useful do they tell

How many people to the conspiracy must adhere
And a whistleblower they never seem to fear
But someone’s conscience would be in fright
And he or she would bring the conspiracy to light

If they should read this, I know what they’ll do
“Look at that. He is in on the conspiracy too.”
Conspiracy theorists are people we should avoid
They are mixed up and likely some are paranoid

Premium Member True Beauty, Indeed, To All Number-Theorists

True beauty, indeed (to all number-theorists),
reveals the distribution of the primes.
Beauty, too, is courage, the defiant fists
of a defender that we praise in rhymes.

Beauty are oaths, that Prince Hector all times
     keeps to shield city, child, and princess bride;
or King Priam's grace for thoughtless Paris's crimes,
rather than wrath for his treach'rous regnocide.

What beauty is not, is Euclid mortified,
if Riemann's Hypothesis's not in sight,
or the Zeta function's proof verified
(for the spread of primes) gives zero insight.

But beauty is what frames your lovely face:
which even shames Helen of the Trojan race!

About 600 BC sailors went down the East African shore
A Pharoah had sent them, afraid of an oncoming war
They rounded the coast at the African horn
Astonished at what they saw that morn.
The sun arced in the north, it just couldn’t be
The earth was flat in those days, everyone did agree.

When they reached home, the crowds didn't believe
But it’s exactly the reason we know they didn't deceive
They had passed the equator, of a world that was a sphere
It shows that away from the front, we should trust what we hear.

A unit of Jewish women saw Hamas soldiers rehearse
To take hostages, blow up fences, they reported chapter and verse
But their superiors didn’t believe them, told them to be silent
The result of this skepticism was incredibly violent
On the seventh day, seventeen of them were killed
Hamas filmed on their go-pros, so much blood spilled
To Hamas liberation, but I shake my heads at that day
Israeli dogma near the top meant quite a price to pay.

Pilots warned of safety concerns at a D.C airport for many years
Near misses with helicopters was the source of their fears
One captain said he could not imagine what kind of designer
Could let helicopters cross the paths of a crowded airliner.

Then a helicopter collided with American airlines 5342
67 died, figure skaters, coaches and an engineer too
Friends who had gone duck hunting in Kansas, didn’t think they would die
Because of an avoidable burst of flame in the sky.

Our hierarchy should be inverted, the hands-on types know more:
the people at the scene, the sailors by the shore
From cockpits and borders to decks on the sea
The front line sees first what the future will be
The theorists in their armchairs, the truth they must seek
We need to bypass them, link the base to the peak.

On the razor edge of reality,
Those who live in the broken
World of conspiracy theories,
Whose wild tales of improbable
Scenarios cloud their minds,
And draw the shades on truth.

At the outset of the pandemic, a conspiracy theorist I was dubbed
Like many others who had doubts, an elephant in the room had now arrived
In many families and also friendships, as theorists, we were scrubbed

So five years down the track, I received a message from my seventy six aged accuser,
describing symptoms she has suffered , I believe ,as a result of being a vaccine user
Post operation to replace a dicky knee
immediate pulse rate , two hundred plus or minus thirty three

So what has been prescribed, it's called a beta blocker
keeps the pulse rate somewhere in the ball park
It's still pulsing around, one hundred and forty beats per minute
seemingly to me, still a rather rapid mark

Protection from the "virus" through the jab does not seem at all to exist
with covid reoccurring for this woman more times than the knuckles on the fist

There's also viral meningitis, allergies as well, she wonders is it the jab
what else would have caused it?
Was it forced? Twas a voluntary action,
no government agency enforced it

Here's a statement that she made: I'm fairly healthy compared to all my peers
Does she maintain beliefs about conspiracy theorists?
For me there's now much proof that validates my suspected vaccination fears

Footnote: this woman has decided to have no further vaccinations
