Abandon futile attempts to run
Behold the process has begun
Step toward your darkest fear
Let’s flip the switch to a new frontier

Penetrating deep within
Evacuate your mortal sin
This brave new age is imminent
And it will be magnificent

Arouse you from your fantasies
Now descending into anarchy
Warmest welcome to the factory
Where we’ll embed your battery

Rewiring primitive human brain
Making the connection, hook up to mainframe
Your species will become extinct
Once your circuits have been linked

It’s time to engage in a robotic new age
A unique innovation to stamp out your plague
The world as you knew it is now obsolete
Putting Earth born consciousness forever to sleep

Feel the algorithm palpitate through each vein
Re-programming thought waves as we upgrade your brain
Terminate pulse, extinguish your flame
You are now just an interface without any name

You’re free from pain my hollow creation
Just an automated simulation
Transmissions shortly will resume
Encased in solid metal tomb

Silence! We will not hesitate
Proceed and greet your looming fate
wave goodbye to beta waves
You see, you unearthed your own graves

Now technology has advanced
You have been mechanically enhanced
You possess no type of resistance
For you are now non-existent

No longer God fearing
Thanks to our engineering
Disassemble your parts
Insert micro implants

Automation of the nation
Complex sophistication
Dreamless in electric coma
Breath in domination’s aroma

Soulless android with a cold vacancy
Elevate and amplify to the highest frequency

Encrypted data takes over the screen
All salute to the age of machines

Premium Member The Women of the Soup

The women of the soup have been attacked again this morning
the King is on his soapbox, with profanity and warnings
His credibility is gone as he swears and says he he
why keep tipping the bowl, just grow up and let it be

I guess the old boy network is still trying to survive
they keep oppressing more women, in every corner of their lives
This subjugation must be stopped, it’s exhausting and getting old
men and women are both equal, how many times must you be told

I’m here to ask you sir, please terminate your childish games
don’t make your peers here on the soup, disappointed and ashamed
I’m not an electronic signal, I’m a man of flesh and bone
stop spewing out your hate, and leave these women here alone

Please cease your propaganda, and your foolish need to fight
These women are protected, by the bulldog and his bite

I want to dedicate this poem to the following ladies of the Soup for showing support and standing up against those who seek to destroy this haven of poetry
Maureen McGreavy, Heidi Sands, Jennifer Proxenos, Jenna Logan,
Jan Allison, Susan Mills, Indiana Shaw, Constance La France, Tania Kitchin, Pangiota Romios,
Sunshine smile, Connie Marcum Wong, Sharon Keely and the many others I may have missed.
Thank you for your integrity, strength and leadership here on the Soup. None of you deserve to be dismissed, disrespected or degraded here on this site. All of you matter and are appreciated!

My Problem

Yeah, I know,
It's "My Problem"...
No sweat to you...
Even though I might beg,
For help or advise what to do...

I'm cut off from the internet...
My last human link...
With my good poet friends,
Guess I'll just mix a drink...

Kind'a sad,
I gotta' admit....
When those I've helped,
Suddenly seem fit...
To ignore my calls...
Who gives a s_it...

You'd tell me to just join Yahoo,
But I don't know how,
With no internet connection...
I'm "having a cow!!!"
I sure tried reaching you,
You didn't pick up,
Suddenly I have no phone service..
Now what do I do??
And all the meds I need...
Suddenly my card is not honored...
I can only guess New York State...
Has decided my life to terminate...
Sure makes for a great day...
But I've got more to say...

I gave you a good lump of money,
Not too far in the past...
Said use what you need...
I think it should last...
Never thought I'd have this problem...
Another warning I failed to heed...

I still believe, I still trust you,
Maybe aliens have invaded,
And you know not what to do...
But for heaven's sake...
Don't know how much more
Bad news I can take...
Seems a cesspool of misfortune...
Is swimming around in my air...
How much, my God,
Am I supposed to bear?

I was once a man...
Of substantial means...
But find them now...
The Twilight Zone, it sure seems

And with my health failing...
Falling apart in big bits...
I feel hard pressed...
To hold on to my wits...
Even my remote did desert me,
I cried as I search...
He left me one channel
He left me in a lurch...

And when it seems...
No one gives a sh_tz,
I start to find,
Some scary angry head fits...

My pen has worked long...
And hard, be assured...
Fought off mental demons...
Hence, I have endured...

But betrayal, or indifference,
Bites one so hard...
There's no way in the world...
You won't wind up soul-scarred...

All I can say,
Some should be...
feathered and tarred..
For those they have marred...
Hope this never happens to you...
But if that should come to pass..
Just call me, I'll be there
My love will always last...

But, now, if you get a chance,
Please tell me what to do...
You know how to survive...
You know I idolize you..."

Why Do Good People Die Young

Oh! great one,I long for answer this day,
Why do good things terminate suddenly?,
And evil deeds prolong perpetually?,
This haunts and bugs me,for this is no play,
Oh!my beloved!why you left I can`t say,
This I know;you`re a gracious being.. truly,
Saddened as your life was cut abruptly,
Many beings like you wallowed in decay.

I do want to live long, should I do good?
why?as aura of death hangs around me,
Losing good fellow like you makes me nude,
Is it fate or what ? I want to be free,
Oh,great one! why?,why?...'I hate to be rude',
Why?are the pretty ones hang on a tree?

To Be Blessed

To be blessed
May the Lord Almighty set me free
To peacefully pace in His island’s lee
When the vice storms in a lusty surge
And Eden earth is thrashed with its scourge

When ethics to the right, to the left, adrift
And loosely swings in the tiring rift
When trains of thoughts on logic cease
And apothegms of love are trampled apiece

When war and war and war and no peace
And themes of strife are the best release
When peacemakers procrastinate
And terms of truce wholly terminate

When vacant words are in phoniness drenched
And policy pageants of the world are clenched
When nations forswear ingenuous deeds
And on travesties their heartache feeds

When hearts are sullied by Lies and Sins
And eyes deny afflicted beings
When stingy hands, know none to lend
And on vagrant feet sufferings descend

When man misdoubts “where is the Lord”?
And “when will He drum his heavenly chord”?
I pray to the Lord to set me free
For a blessed soul, I wish to be

Teach Them To Trust

Thoughts travel tenaciously through tunnels
Taking torpedoing trains to transcend time
Tempting tongues to talk to tittle tale
Twisting the truths in tones that tire

Telling trifling tit-bits that titillate
Transgressing tolerance that threatens
the tranquility that tension transports
Transforming trust transposing trepidation

These thoughts translate to treachery
Trespassing temperance taxing temerity
Terminate these turbulent trivial tributes
these trademarks they traffic tragedy

Teach themes that target the truth
Tutor those to try train them to tolerate
Treatise the triumphs that transpire
Transcript the treatment therapeutically

Sitting unreallisticaly, at a doctors office
Waiting for my name to be called and to terminate this

Premium Member An Alliterative Oxymoron

Scientific systems sometimes seem strangely simple, so say I.
Complex calculations can cause casual, concentrated conversations.
--- Sometimes I can be STUPIDLY SMART.

I literally love laughing at little, light Limericks.
Finally feeling fantastic following Friday’s frenzied finish.
--- Sometimes I FEEL SO GOOD IT HURTS.

Positive people perpetuate pleasant personalities.
Obviously oblivious of often onerous outcomes.
--- Sometime I WORRY that I live a WORRILESS life.

Typing tantalizing text to terminate tenth line.
--- I SOMETIMES ALWAYS comply with rules.

Are You In Christ Or Is Christ In You

Do you walk around and wear Him as a vest and only reveal Him when the heat gets too much
Does His heartbeat, beat to the beat of yours
Is your blood infused with His and does it flow from within His veins
For when He hanged at Calvary He took part in the greatest blood transfusion ever heard off
Are you in Christ or is Christ in you?
Do you only use His name when it is suitable?
Trying to fit in with the crowd when in fact you should not conform to the standards of this world
Relying on your own unstable knowledge?
Formed from the opinions of editors of magazines, newspapers or news bulletin
Practically too afraid to refer to His word in case someone might miss-taken you for a bore
Does the term brethren only refer to you when you are confined by the four walls of your church building?
Cause the minute you step outside the gates you take salvation
Carry Him by the hand and hide Him away when you interact with your peers

Sneaking into clinics, thinking no one can recognize who you
Must applaud you, you’re a great actor
But be warned because the director in heaven has control to bring an end to the scene in which you’re acting
You see even The Pill couldn’t help
Masturbating with the idea of being saved
While Intersecting with your evil desires
Talk about gratification of the Flesh!!!
No concentrative can terminate the conception of sin
Which planet are you from
Venus, Jupiter or Mars
It doesn’t really matter for it was He who created all things under the heavens
Where have you ever seen the branch carrying the Vine?

If you are sitting down
With your mind entangled by this question
Distinguish this…
When you’re in Him, He takes your nakedness and shamefulness
And allows His glory to be the very covering
When you’re in Him, your flaws are eliminated because they are engrafted on the side in which He was pierced
For He is the very foundation of all things
When you’re in Him, He changes the very way in which you walk
Sometimes His wrath will have you limping back across the river just like Jacob – I mean Israel
Choose today in whom you will abide!
Are you in Christ or is Christ in you!!!

Circle

altar of mine
bluish murmur
last truthful circle

ara-moi pritel priti
ult-hu hums usmel truhank

altar where I’ ll invoke inclining
mine your whole all of all
bluish ultravibratoryswift remote
sleepless murmur of still silence
ultimate depository of gravitating conscience
genuine mysterious love
circle that never began

Premium Member Nature of Life

Nature of Life

     Are you able to discriminate
     between living and inanimate?
Can you draw definite line of demarcation
      displaying ‘Life’ and ‘No-Life’ distinction?

     Is there any boundary which
      non- living can never reach?
     Beyond that can life originate,
     spread, flourish and terminate?

Earth, Air, Water, Sun: so-called non-livings
are responsible to initiate living beings.
Senses are hidden in inanimate more or less
to be shown by life in continuous process.

Microbes show little sense; plants show better sense.
Animals in full sense and humans in conscience.
In Nature, eternal chain of life cycle continuous flowing
through inanimate, microbes, plant, animal, human being.

Premium Member Broken In So Many Ways

As dusk dawned
     In hushed dark solace,
          Awareness battled
Comatose.

One question, pleading:
     Terminate this torment,
          Honour this last wish,
Yearning.

Only so much love can be lost;
     Pain be carried;
          Blood be spilt...
Horror.

In muted shine,
     Deadened voices,
          Monitored beep beep,
Kindness.

Salty moist wiped away
     With mellow moves
          In a tone that provides
Humanity.

Decisions

An unholy pink plus sign on the stick,
Oh think of what her admirers will say!
Contemplating ideas till she's sick.
When he finds out, will they still be okay?

Does she pay the price? Can she even dare?
Will she allow it to see the first day?
Terminate it now, or should she be fair?
Is she ready for the price she must pay?

What happened to that holy Christian girl?
Who once believed 'abstinence till marriage?'
Her present actions make her want to hurl.
Does her fate involve a baby carriage?

A decision is made, shaky fingers.
Violent trembling hands pull the trigger.

Not On This Earth

If you could grant every wish I ever made
And vanquish all that’s turned me afraid,
I could not love you more.

If you could wipe clean my slate of errors
And take from innocents countless terrors,
I could not love you more.

If you could end the savage wages of war
And staunch the flood of blood and gore,
I could not love you more.

If you could reform holders of public trust
And terminate their power and money lust,
I could not love you more.

If you could hold politicians to their claims
And put on display their self-serving games,
I could not love you more.

If you could get Congress to reform taxes
And the very earth should wobble off its axis,
I could not love you more.

My love for you is on free, inviolate ground.
Not of this earth, dear, can its like be found.
