So many words left unspoken
so many hearts that were broken
You told me so many lies
Now all I'm left with is your goodbyes
I wanted to know
I wasn't ready to let go
Why did you leave
I really thought I could beileve
All that we were
now it's all a blur
Too young to notice
I guess I just lost my focus
I was foolish but I can see
you never wanted me.
I was stupid,I was wrong
I should have known all along
Selfish thoughts and dreams
This whole thing came apart at the seams
No more hurt or pain
I will no longer love in vain
So this is my new call
I will look before I fall
So many words left unspoken
But here's to this one...
I can never be broken!!!
As I sit here, I listen to the words I try so hard to, but cannot block out,
How is it that I have not experianced enough ridicule In Elementary school,
Why is it that I must experiance it again after so long, with no reason of it at all,
I sit on the bus, and sit in my class and do not look over at their floating voices,
Laughing at me and my misfortune, though the words they say are complete falsitiys,
I try to focus on anything I can, and block out the other voices, that swim within my head,
They whisper bad thoughts to me, to hurt him, and everyone else,
They put senarios into my mind, of bringing guns into school,
I hide my tears, within my empty eyes, and never look towards them,
Why do they not realise that the quiet ones are the most dangerous,
I dont want to be like this, I want to forebade these thoughts to go,
Do not come hither, and speak with serpants tongues into my ears,
I want to remove these images of watching their life leave their mortal casings,
I dont want to feel these things, but all I want right now, is to curl up in a ball and cry...
Normal
If normal is as normal does.
Then normal is as normal was.
If normal makes it all OK.
Then normal is the only way.
If normal does not fix the pain.
Then normal is what we restrain.
In looking at what we believe.
As we’re groping to achieve.
The normal, that just went askew.
As we learned and as we grew.
The normal that we’d try to be.
The normal that we'd always see.
In the words of those who cared.
And in the words of those impaired.
For normal is as normal does.
If normal ever really was.

I almost couldn't believe it
When I heard the words you spoke
Because I didn't want to.
I didn't want to admit
That you were really letting me go,
Like a leaf on a windy day
To travel alone
Somewhere without you.
I almost couldn't believe it
When I called myself "single",
Because after us,
"Single" means "alone".
Yes, I might have my friends
And my family to back me up,
But that's not the love I want.
I almost couldn't believe it
When I walked away from you
And let the tears flow
Down my cheeks unwillingly.
I almost couldn't believe it
When I heard the words you spoke
Because I didn't want to.
The face of perfection I saw there that day.
Lost for words oh, what could I say.
The doors into heaven I stare through his eyes.
Taught me to treasure even the hardest good byes.
The heart of true gold pull to my chest.
Makes me feel different then all the rest.
His words of kindness oh so sincere.
I forget every worry, problem and fear.
The smile of an angel shines oh so bright.
Can't get off my mind, no not tonight.
I got worried.
I hadn't heard from you in awhile.
You were out at the bar again.
And you said you'd be home soon two hours before.
Pam called.
But you didn't answer.
I texted.
But you didn't reply.
And when you did,
those hate filled words struck me hard.
I didn't know what to say.
And then you got home.
I was in my room shaking because I was afraid,
as you started yelling at me from downstairs in the kitchen.
I sat there.
And you yelled more.
I crept downstairs to see Pam sitting there and your eyes filled with hate.
As you yelled words of how you despised me.
Telling me you drink because of me.
How could you say those things to your own daughter?
How could you put that on me?
And then you try and comfort me.
Try and play daddy after yelling at me like that.
I shoved you away.
And you got more angry with me.
I saw that blind fury in your eyes.
As you began to yell more and more.
It hit my heart like a brick wall.
I had always been a daddys girl.
I was "Your little angel."
What changed?
What did I do?
"Happy Birthday Baby"
These words run through my mind
No one has ever said these words to me
I don't know why I keep hearing them
Someone kisses my neck
He loves me
Why do I keep thinking of this
No one has ever done that for me
No one loves me
Yet it's all I can think about
In my mind I see a man
He is tall
He keeps kissing me
Telling me he loves me
He says he never wants to lose me
He keeps saying he is the luckiest man
That he's won the jackpot
He kisses my neck and tells me I'm beautiful
Says I have a beautiful neck
I feel like I couldn't be happier
But I know this is just a day dream
Soon I'll be stuck in the real world
The man in my daydream will be only a memory
I want to save this memory forever
But I know that in a week I'll have forgotten
I keep thinking of him
I wish he could be real
I long to feel his touch
In my mind I feel a caressing touch
and gentle kisses
Back to the old ways,
I'm watching the world pass,
And I'm just falling back,
I don't have the motivation or the strength to change,
I fall back back to being alone,
It's easier to breathe,
I'll get out hit it and pass it,
But man I gotta Surpass it,
How do I move through this?
Watching this world pass,
Watching this burning grass,
And I'm just flailing to get a grip,
I need control but there is no hope,
I need someone to help,
I'm alone,
Watching the world pass,
I've jaded myself,
I fight my fears,
Then I swallow my tears,
I won't let them see,
I'm not going to hurt again,
I'll walk on the egde but I'm not going in,
I'm not a user,
I don't just say words I mean them,
I say them with crushing blows,
Because what I say is what I feel,
Take my words to heart they will crush you,
You'll never get me to fall again,
I'll just sit back and watch the world pass.
I know your faking, this I can sense.
She's not causing the heartbreaking, it's you and my conscience.
Want to know what I think?, I THOUGHT NOT!
Even though I'm on death's brink, she's all I got.
Her love is not in vain, but your still here.
Do you feel my pain, with your words so clear?
I gave her my heart, you tore it away.
You ripped me apart, when I wanted her to stay.
Can you see through my eyes, do you know what I want?
Can you hear her cries, they fall so blunt.
Do you see, what you think is right?
Your killing me, do you want death in sight?
Her tears still fall, breaking me down.
You hear every call, congratulations, do you want the crown?
I'm dead on the inside, I cannot hear her name.
Every night I've died, isn't it such a shame.
I've lost all control, it holds me back.
I've lost my soul, when your words attack.
I start to see, your own way.
It's the only way to be, I have no say.
She is just another star, so many in the sky.
Yet she heals every scar, and keeps me from choosing to die.
Without her, it kills me slowly.
Without her, I die regretfully.
