More listening to birds

Perhaps to grouse
Or was thrown insults to us
What saying?
Whenever views our blood at the Earth pigment.

Surmise
Love will prevails universe
From lowest to farthest
Love is the lowest ways of existence
Feelings created
With human
silent, sparkling, saturating,silver
streaked-sky...
sleeping, sonneteers,in states of
sky-castles snore...
sanguine, self-assured,and so sunset-sure...
something supremely splendid to scribe...
softly, sylvan on some soul's snuggly, splendorous, spirit...

perhaps quite unintentional
how your every word
manipulates my heart
i'm in a gilded cage
prisoner of your every whim
and you don't know it
one word from you
let me surmise
one word from you
and i can soar the skies

I question myself
at this stage of life,
a lot of living behind me,
more than three scores and ten
and not as much ahead—I surmise.
A junction reached for pause
to take inventory,
no more forks in the road to worry about,
no more big decisions to be made.
Well, maybe just a few.
A time to count accomplishments.
What have I done with my life to date,
am I living on purpose with joy?
Married young, birthed two sons, worked for others,
gifted my time to some and fell in love maybe once,
traveled to far off lands because I was curious,
and boy, Oh boy, did I dance.
What can I share
to those who will follow in my footsteps
I’d like to reveal some stories.
It seems like I might have done quite a bit.
Scratching my head though; where to begin.
I don’t remember a thing
the events of so long ago
choose to be forgotten.
Yet the stories, yet the stories,
plead to be told.
Knocking at every portal
for entry—but who will tell them,
who will sit quietly
at the wee hours of dawn
watching the leaves sway –
at the urging of a gentle breeze.
Who will wait for the sun to rise
to bring in the day’s light…
and just purge on blank pages,
who will drag the stories
from the depths of my soul where
they have rested for so long?
Hmmm! I question myself.
Will Surmise Than Realize
What we do know and will surmise,
Each day are sure to really realize,
Idea great;
Cannot wait;
Only best should always advertise.

(To suppose that something is true without having evidence to confirm it)
She fought courageously
Her battle was arduous; potentially leading to her demise
The only impediment to her success
Was flawed thoughts, she surmised
She obsessively tried to predict the future
She desperately tried to avoid all of life's pain
The inability to quiet her mind
Left her filled with doubt and self shame
They say that all of our experiences
Are contingent on the world we choose to view
If we don't have the experience - the perspective
All of our problems accrue
You see the strength of our battle
Is determined by the strength of one's mind
When we clarify and evaluate
It's like changing water into wine
So, let’s fight the battle courageously
Discern the emotions inside
The only impediment to our success
Is flawed thoughts, don't surmise
The cold consummate summer
eyes unclued
beyond the veil of tears
South were pleasant lands
East was the golden sunrise
the winds strolled gently
West were Mike and Suzie dominion
smiles on their faces
offering no apologies to the wayfarers
they needed no clue
