three Angels laughed
at everday hardships
bathed in the light
of eternal Grace

misdeeds, distrusts
goodwill interrupted

all are welcome
at His Holy Place

when righteous paths
are twisted with lies
and darkness swallows
impossible hope

remember the words
an old warrior sang
as the gates of glory
came into sight

he held up three fingers
we asked him "why?"

he said he "I see Three"
we knew soon
he'd be free

three Angels laughed
at every hardships
bathed in the light
of eternal Grace

misdeeds, distrusts
goodwill interrupted

all are welcome
at His Holy Place

when righteous paths
are twisted with lies
and darkness swallows
impossible hope

remember the words
an old warrior sang
as the gates of glory
came into sight

he held up three fingers
we asked him "why?"

he said " I see Three"
we knew soon
he'd be free

Premium Member Rome Wasn'T Built In a Day On Cd

She wanted a great big brand new house, among brand new other things,
and just to marry and be my spouse, she wanted great big diamond rings,
So I knew what she was about, when she wanted so much bling,
it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, money was her thing.....

But you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, my ol' daddy use to say,
don't build bridges that burn up son, you'll need them again someday,
You're never too old to keep learnin', work hard to pay your way,
Keep a job and keep on earnin' son, ya know, Rome wasn't built in a day...

Well, she just wasn't the one for me, so she went on down the road,
and as far as I could see, she could carry her own dang load,
Yes, I'm so glad she's free, and she left my humble abode,
because she inspired this song to be, another one seeking gold,

But you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, my ol' daddy use to say,
don't build bridges that burn up son, you'll need them again someday,
You're never too old to keep learnin', work hard to pay your way,
Keep a job and keep on earnin' son, ya know, Rome wasn't built in a day.

The Queen of the Mojave Desert

The old man lived out by the desert, selling postcards and gasoline,
He sold road-maps and Navajo silver, and True West magazine.

And under his Gabby Hays beard beat the heart of a dashing young man;
With arthritic fingers he cleaned off my windshield…he once was a Dapper Dan.

He said “Take care on the desert, carry plenty water to spare—
And look out for mirages that float like a dream—there’s all kinds of dangers out there.

“And you better watch out for that sweet senorita, the travelers all agree…
They call her the Queen of the Mojave Desert…but she once belonged to me,
Yes, she once belonged to me…”

I thought the old man was demented, from too many years in the sun;
But there in his gas station office I noticed a Winchester gun…

And I saw a faded brown photo—a Mexican beauty was she…
Right next to a newspaper clipping…about a murder in 1953…

Then later that night on the desert, my car overheated and died—
And I saw the Queen of the Mojave Desert…with a bullet hole gaping wide!

So I hoofed it on back to the station, ‘left my automobile behind…
And that grizzled gas station attendant, he told me one final time—

“You’d better look out for that sweet senorita, the travelers all agree,
They call her the Queen of the Mojave Desert…but she once belonged to me,
She was unfaithful to me…back in 1953…she was unfaithful to me...”

Plain Old Common Sense

Plain old common sense is part of everyday life
Not a great deal to say or do. Bachelor’s Master’s
Doctorate will suffice, but plain old common sense
You won’t need to think twice.

Common sense to do the impossible is not a nerve
Rocking experience at all. The earth won’t cave
In and the sky won’t fall. Education common senses
both essential tools given the opportunity which one
will you choose?

Education is a must common sense works every time
it works wonders on any scale even with rhythm or rhyme,

Soul In the Horn

I lost myself inside the rhythms last night
Soul roll out these speakers
‘Cuz the boom bap blast right

Too many rappers wanna smash mics
But I cradle notepads
And travel pen strokes like nomads

Fakes just don’t have the gonads
To flow past the old raps
And re-construct the old maps

Perhaps their just scared of change
Unprepared for new age
Impaired vision can’t see the true range

It’s too strange, so much possibility
But it’s all blocked
Unless we stop the hostility

But will it ever happen?
I ask as I look to Her in reverence
Drop a sentence
And continue this petty rappin’

This is repentance,
To all who I wronged
I long to amend, my friend
I’m with You until the end

Not a trend; this is respect over royalty
Not about power
Everything’s rooted in loyalty

So no devil can spoil these
Never foil these philosophies
Nobody is stoppin' these

Or coppin' these in mixtapes
I’m just a mistake
A misplay on Fate
Subject to misplaced hate…

So I shake the weight
Boulder off the shoulders lifted
Breeze lift me like leaves
But I’m floatin’ on clouds, not driftin’

Off into abysses?
Nah, listen
Ascension got me kissin’
These stars that glisten

And I’m wishin’ upon ‘em
To take someone along
Autumn air to carry ‘em up
Another leaf to the song

Rock, rock on
Long-last the legend
From clock’s dawn
To moon’s yawn
This is forever heaven

Welcome To My Movie

Allisons off her meds
Allisons off her meds
welcome to my movie

when I got home from work I wanted to take a ride
you weren't home so I hoped on my bike
what I saw was quite a surprise
an old man with a cane running for his life
I caught up to him straight at the light
he turned around to look at me square in the eyes
and said watch out!

our sins chase us with knives
(Guitars)

Allisons off her meds
Allisons off her meds
welcome to my movie

Holly Woods coming
I wanna look my best
should I wear this blouse
or my this little black dress
welcome to my movie
Hollywoods on their way
Allison that's just Eddie
he says the boys coming
Ally their on their way
it's time to go get ready
their gonna take you for a ride
to visit some of your old freinds
down at south county

Allisons off her meds
Allisons off her meds
welcome to my movie

the officer said don't worry
you'll be back home soon
and I heard Ally reply
I hope it's before the next full moon

Yeaaaaaaah !! Allisons off her meds
Allisons off her meds

Premium Member Train Songs

Nobody writes train songs anymore
No one sings about them like they did before
Sometimes I get lonely when I hear that engine roar
Nobody writes train songs any more
Those old train songs always take me back
Stonewall sang about the smoke along the track
Folsom prison from the man in black
Those old train songs always take me back
Steel rails had a rhythm all their own
I loved to hear that lonesome whistle moan
Ride to where the wind had never blown
Steel rails had a rhythm all their own
Now and then I hear that freight train call my name
If I went, I’d only have myself to blame
There’s a wild streak I’ve never learned to tame
Now and then I hear that freight train call my name
Have you ever dreamed of hopping on a train
On the roof you can hear the pounding of the rain
It has a soothing sound that takes away your pain
Have you ever dreamed of hopping on a train
Nobody writes train songs anymore
No one sings about them like they did before
Sometimes I get lonely when I hear that engine roar
Nobody writes train songs anymore.

"just You"

"Just YOU"

Hey! sweet old love
old love of mine

I will see you when
when old memory come around
and wind i dream of you
i will think of you dancing around in your night gown

hook: no one, just you
           now (no) one just you

Hey! sweet old love
old love of mine
in the night, your still there
somewhere dancing around in your underwear

hook: no one, just you
           now (no) one just you

so here's to you
i once loved,
all so very well

hook: no one, just you
           now (no) one just you

hook: no one, just you
           now (no) one just you

Out of Reach

Another sunrise
And we’re
On the road again
We just burnt down the city
And there we were
Morning till the dust

Just let it go my friend
Just let it go like good old men
We got to let go my friend
We can journey on like good old men
But you got to let go my friend

Over the power lines
Times are growing scarce
But we’re doing just fine you see
Beyond the shaded trees
The shadows that shelter us
Oh I really don’t mind
I don’t mind at all

Over along this path
Day break shares it’s laughs
Tomorrow we’ll remember this day
For nothing ever seems to last
We’re over and left behind
This day
The bridges gap our friendship
Over the bricks we lay
Sun set,
The reason we come to stay
It’s over and done,
So much left to say
