I need you now

Never been the one
To pick up the phone
Lovers undone, so lost on the run
Emotions burning all bridges as flames consume

The heat of love knowing I have lost it all
Holding the bottle I tumble and fall
Used to have it, used to be the fastest ball
Now I shake and tremble afraid to make the last call

Always been a country boy
Playing with my truck and all my other men toys
You never saw a tear from me
But I have cried, behind the curtain you never see

Never could I ever say, I need you now, don’t go away
Being strong and hiding tears of pain and sorrow
Pushed you all away, there is no tomorrows
Inside I am the child, hoping for love somehow

Never been the one
To pick up the phone
Lovers always wondered why
Bridges burnt were safer back then

Holding on to long lost dreams
Losing my grip and fading fast
If only I wasn’t hidden so well you would surely have screamed
The pain of despair never far from Jim Beam

Never been the one
To pick up the phone
Lovers always wonder why
My guitar never played a song goodbye

Traveling down lonely roads
Motels and one gas station towns
Dust filled shoes and dust filled dreams
I rest my bones, till the next bus is seen

Never been the one
To pick up the phone
Lovers always wondered why
While I wandered away wishing death came by

Never been the one
To pick up the phone
Always wondered if true love exists
Lost love still would slash my lifeless wrists

This Damn Song

All I want in this whole world is someone to love,
Someone to hold, to cherish, to dream of.
All I need is someone to comfort me—
To stand by my side, to help set me free.

Someone to talk to, to whisper things to,
Someone, my dear… someone like you.

Someone who'll love me, and I’ll love them back,
Someone who’s faithful, not someone I lack.
Someone—oh someone—help me, I pray…
Someone who’ll love me forever and a day.

Someone, please—ask her not to leave,
For without her, my life is a sieve.
Someone, oh someone, hear my cry,
And tell the girl I love her—the one who said goodbye.

Someone, please someone, tell her I’ll wait—
Wait for her return, no matter how late.
I’ll wait here forever—I don’t care how long—
Because she’s the reason I wrote this damn song.

Yes, she’s the reason I wrote this damn song.
She’s the only reason I wrote this damn song.

I'Ll Come Back Soon

This year's sound is over
like an echo from the hills.
I'll only pray when the night comes
I'll stay only when you heal my pain.

You just closed the gate
You stole my hope
And for your promises I grope
to fill my hands.

So how can I hold the light?
The sun's risen dreams
I still owe words supremes
My soul hides and redeems.

You know I've lost the way
There are no words enough to say.
Just hold my tear
I'll come back soon, I'll come back soon
I'll come back soon, I'll come back soon.

From the song ''Goodbye'' - Elton John.

Her voice captures you
Enraptures you
She sings and deep within
Her heart drips in passions tears

She reaches out, and touches air
She is sultry, stylish and with flair
Her Voice seduces you
Her songs wrap around your heart

She touches you in jazzy blues
Her musical notes play on your mind
She is buried deep within her own thoughts
She sings of love, the one she dreams

She melts before your eyes
Unawares of the love she brings
She kisses her song goodbye
And looks into you, her sultry angel eyes

In the dark of night, silently she fades away
My funny Valentine

Holidayz (Angel of Sadness)

November, December,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
As my senior days become to fade
Wipe away the innocence of the games we played
I’m nearly an antique and as my life will come to pass
Only to be intrigued Sometimes I wonder with the children ask
November, December,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
Against these cold tiles I rest my head
As bad dreams and nightmares test this bed
A Funeral for those whom bled
It no longer rains, it only sleets
It keeps me slipping from these tempered feet
Like disaster is constantly pressing repeat
So to these Novembers and Decembers,
I couldn’t bear to remember
To joy and faith I say goodbye
Resurrect me, only when these holidays die
Happy holidays
Dear misery, slap me if I follow the paved
Take these invisible gifts
Make them into relive-able myths
And one day, outside this life
I’ll divorce the devastation
Marry my dreams and finally hold my wife
But fantasies are peaceful times
So again I’ll leave you with a deceitful rhyme

Latifah

Less than amazing, that was never you
And you were my girl, well I thought it true
Till once you decided, you now must go
Into the future, without me in the fold
Forward you went without me at your Side
And I wish our love had never died.
Happy life, I well wish to you, hear the love and devotion I should have gave too

Like a dark night, I'm lonely and cold
And it was you, my secrets I told
The ones that you know, please keep them safe
If they were yours I'd do the same
For the memories, thank you for them
And I wish they all, would never end
Happy life, I well wish to you, there's the emotion I hid from you

Last time I saw you we had a cry
And time she slowly passed by
The tears that we shed
Inflicted by this mess
Forged for you, a better life
And this doesn't rhyme but we've got to this time, I wish you A
Happy new life.

I will always love you and cherish our time together.
