The Tragedy of Elise

We are Elise.
We are uncountable.
With no way to break open our locks
They designed sweet melodies as keys
And conquered countries in our name.

We are the loved and easily forgotten.
They came to us with bouquets of rose,
Like the Queens, we sat cold yet joyous
As they placed sweet nothings by our feet
And we were heartbroken when they abandoned us.

We are the noontime shadows.
The sun is so bright and the darkness so great
Hurricanes rage inside and tear us apart
But we dare not reveal the burdens we carry
For we are loved by them, in all their carelessness.

We are Elise.
Broken open and tossed aside.
Loved purely then left behind.
Unhappy but satisfied.
We are Elise, the greatest puppet ever made.

Sacrifice

A sweet scent of the morning rose
A sweet smell of an early drizzle
A prick of the finger
A tear from the eye
A lonesome ride...down a nostalgic road
These are the moments showing
Sacrifice in my life,
So I say Ameen!

Silence and Shadows

In lightless pit of silent vale
Treading softly on broken shale
No noise I plead, no noise I beg
Lest I wake the beast with in my head

A shadow that slides from place to place
A ghostly shade without a face
Slipping through light, slipping though day
Embracing shadows where I may

In black on black the look of Cash
With foot prints that leave not a splash
Past community I softly tread
Lest they wake the beast with in my head

I stopped just once and there I fell
Through velvet pump into sweet hell
With golden bangs, with liquid fire
To fane the flames of velvet desire

In this sweet hell were pools of blue
A dancer’s beat that skipped and flew
Bright shining lights for all to see
But this woke the dread inside of me

Its rapid eyes no longer moved
It twitched is once still cloven hooves
Unlocking doors with a big red key
The once sleeping beast had broken free

Once sickly sweet now never more
A poisoned font with every flaw
The carpet pulled, no longer tread
With this beast free inside my head

Language spilled like jungle vines
Angry colours and poison spines
Thinking fractal though kaleidoscope
The angry beast gave me the rope

Now sweet hell swings in the breeze
Shattered dreams cut off at the knees
Auto torture, self effacing hate
Are favourite games when he’s awake

Killing this self yet one more time
I killed my friend, my intertwine
No more I scream, no more I beg
As I lock it away deep in my head

Now the lovers clinch and wrestling
The birds, the bees, the doves that sing
Are things of fear are things of dread
Lest they wake the beast with in my head

In lightless pit of silent vale
Treading softly on broken shale
No noise I make, no words are said
Lest I wake the beast with in my head

Izabelle Hears Voices

I won't let them hurt you.
My sweet little Izabelle.
Show me who you're talking to
I swear I will not tell.

Sweet little Izabelle,
Don't listen to them - no.
I'll be here, I won't leave you.
I swear I will not go.

My sweet little Darling,
Step away from there,
I cannot stand to watch,
I swear I cannot bare.

Please Darling, won't you help me..
I know you're in there, Sweet.
We can overcome this,
I won't accept defeat.

For you my Baby Girl,
My feeling will not rust.
We can be a family,
I swear, in you, I trust.

I won't let them hurt you,
Those voices that you hear.
We will be together,
With me, you have no fear.

Why Must He Leave?

Why must he leave?
by Cate Rock

When does love exactly die?
Or does it ever?

When will i learn to fly?
Am i just doomed to be held here till i die?

My wings clipped...
My loins main shaved...
My heart, truly betrayed.

Pulled apart boomed from the start forever in a cage...
And all i can manage to feel is rage...

My zoo keeper...
My ring master...
My hell...

She hates me...
I feel it...
I debate on killing...

Death a sweet song one I've never wanted to sing...
I loved... and i lost.

Ive hurt and I've cried...
All the time wishing id just have died.

No reason to live.
No reason to move on...
No reason i don't feel.
No reason at all.

Wishing never helped...
Praying was a waist of time...
Taking the punishment because it was all mine.

Wanting to live but not quite able to.
All my pain everything i feel is all because of you...

You are my only friend in this hell...
Yet i feel alone every time u try to help...
I wish for death that sweet last breath...

I love you but i don't know what to do...
Evermore confused than usual...
A kiss for the road...
For it is to be a ruff ride...

Waiting

I keep waiting for the door to open
And for you to walk back in
I can't tell you how bad I've missed you
And how lonely I have been

Waiting to see that beautiful smile
That highlights your sweet face
Waiting to hear your tender voice
That warms this cold, cold place

Waiting to feel your heartbeat
As you lay close by my side
Waiting to know your soft caress
That comes from deep inside

Waiting to touch your hair of silk
Woven on Heaven's loom
Waiting to wipe away your tears
And smell your sweet perfume

Waiting til the day I die
And draw this life's last breath
Waiting till we meet again
And we're joined together in death
