~ Letter to Mother ~ If I die before I wake

To my mother I would write

I never understood why you were so cruel ~ or why you had an iron fist rule

Why you beat me till black and blue ~ for something as simple as not tying my shoe

Why you were always enraged ~ why interest in my life you never engaged

Why did I get the worst of the abuse ~ when I was the best behaved and did as
you told me to

Why did you fight to win custody back ~ when maternal instincts you knew you
lacked

Your torment instilled in me ~ fear, depression, insecurities, and anxiety

This is the reason my judgment was flawed ~ mother you should be appalled

Even though it was horrific living through this ~ I love you and for your pain to be
healed I always wished

Even though my body will be gone ~ Even though you may morn

My heart is no longer scorn ~ I thank you for being born

My life resulted in the lives of more ~ Lives that I love and adore

This is the greatest gift you have given me ~ I don’t want or ask for more... I'm FREE

Is This My Mother I See

Is this my mother i see.

                        What was i doing
                        yes i am aging

Is this my mother i see
                        Alas it is not
                        It is me

                       Where was i going
                       I am forgetting

Is this my mother i see
                      Alas it is not
                      It is me

                     Why did i say that
                     It has no meaning

Is this my mother i see
                     Alas it is not
                     It is me

                    When will it leave me
                    No one is listening

Is this my mother i see
                    Alas it is not
                    It is me

For my mother who has Alzheimers.

Mother

Stepping out of one world and into another
It was my wish that I visit with mother
Attempting to leave my burdens behind
Many things of troublesome worry still linger in my mind

Desperately searching for the most wonderful woman of beauty bright
It was apparent that mother was nowhere in sight
Struggling to fathom the idea that on this day my mother I may not see
Desperately calling to mother to “come to thee”

Searching both near and far; “mother dearest I long to be where you are”
It was on that day; I remember well on my heart was left a scar
For it seemed like an eternity that I did roam
When at last my search was over when it was your beautiful name I saw in stone

Remembering back to the days of old
It was the words of a wise and witty woman that was told
As a tear gently rolled down the curve of her face
It is the love for each other I’m sure that no one can replace

For as I entered, there will be a day that I must go
But there is something that I must share with you and you must know
Forever you have been and forever you will always be in my heart
And it is by your side that I will never part

A Helping Hand

I was a child

who was shivering in the cold

I was alone crying and nobody know who was my mother and father

I was shouting for food in latin and nobody was there to bother

Dogs were licking me and eagles were crowding

I found no humanity in human but in a mother dog

Who understood my hunger and fed me milk by thinking she has six children instead of five

I was just able to stand and walk as I turned three

I found a child who was crying under the tree

I took her in my arms

I went to each and every house ( for food)

A day passed , she stopped crying

I got tired and stopped worrying

I was telling her I am her mother and father

she became everything for me

but that everything remained nothing

As she passed away few days before

I was foolish and I was not known She was no more

Like me thousands were survived with no hope

But like this child millions were giving up their lives

Please give us a helping hand.

How Long 'Til It Ends?

You can't turn on the t.v. anymore,
and not see any bad news.
You can't turn on the radio,
and not hear about sex, drugs, and death.

Shootings on streets, by schools, around stores,
Drug dealers, drug busts, death due to drugs.
Raps and songs about sex, money, drugs, clothes, and
then you have the 4th rape case this month.

When is it going to end?
When will we hear and see peace?
How far will it go before
someone sees what it'll take to make it work?

You can't live in peace,
knowing a mother abandoned her child.
You can't live without anger,
knowing the world is only getting worse.

A mother abandons her child, another kills hers,
A father kidnaps his, another kills his wife and unborn child.
You want to strangle them all,
But you can't, it'll mean you're just as bad as them.
Killing, but yours is avenge.
And still wrong.

On Learning

The girl was eight,
And she hated to wait,
Mother laid in bed,
Staring into space straight ahead,
The girl wanted to go play,
But she'd promised daddy she'd stay,
Mommy was sick...but she always was,
So what was the big fuss?
Her mother gasped,
And in her dry voice rasped,
"I'm tired...so so tired. I want to sleep."
The girl watched as her mother began to weep.
Scared, she wonder if she should call the doctor,
She anxiously glanced at the door,
Her mother then began to smile,
"I love you both. I love you and Kyle."
The girl whispered. "Daddy and I love you too."
Her mother's smile grew wider, "I know, I know you do."
She then murmured, "Let me sleep, I'm beat."
The girl watched and sat quietly in her seat,
She watched even after her breathing was no more,
She gazed silently at her peaceful mother,
After some time she observed her father as he entered,
And as he began to cry her vision blurred.
She went into his arms and held him tight,
She smiled and whispered, "Don't cry, daddy. It's alright."
She pointed to her peacefully sleeping mother.
"See, daddy? She's not tired anymore."

R.I.P Mrs. Beyeres....

I woke up today
never knowing this would come
for I'd just seen you not a day ago
and there had only been smiles
we had been making plans
and your mother she just smiled and watched
how can we get back to that moment?
I never thought this then
but those would be the last
the last of the happy words between us.
I wish i could take this from you
i wish i could take it from myself
what where do we go now?
there is this gaping chasm between us
filled with this darkness
that drowns us in pain
your mother, they will say
no one can replace her
no one saw the street racers
as you two were getting off the freeway
no one could stop fates hands
as the street racers hit you both
and the car rolled away
as if mere dust in the wind...
you were fine and i was glad
but my second mother?
she, she lay in her own blood
where do we go now?
i wish i could take this pain from you
i wish i could take this pain from myself
what do i say now
what words can be said..
nothing more than
may she rest in peace
may she go with god
know that we are here
to hold you up.
Remember those who love you
and know that your mother doesn't suffer here.
one day may we return to sanity.

RIP mrs. beyers who was killed in a car accident and passed away this morning after they
pulled her off life support, she was like my second mother and we mourn her loss, may she
be in pain no more though, and may we remember all the love she taught us.

Premium Member The Window

She rocked Danny nigh the window in her rocking chair,
Cuddled him closely and hummed an ancient Irish air.
As she gazed thro' the window at the vast horizons beyond,
She pondered her precious gift and the closeness of their bond.

Anon, she stood by the window as he played upon the lawn,
Watching as he romped and gamboled as sprightly as a fawn.
She waved from the window each morn as he left for school,
And stood there after school to greet her precious jewel.

From the window Mother treasured so many precious scenes,
As Danny advanced from his childhood and on thro' his teens:
Playing with his old pal Shep, tinkering with his very first car,
Sitting on the porch with his sweetie, strumming his guitar.

In a foreign land strife began and he volunteered to serve.
He felt it his solemn obligation, America's freedoms to preserve.
Thro' the window Mother sadly watched him march away.
"Bring my boy home safely, Dear God" she did silently pray.

She sat by the window praying he would walk thro' the door,
To clasp her to his breast and leave her side no more.
She gasped seeing soldiers thro' the window coming up the drive.
They were saddened to inform her that Danny did not survive.

My Mother Was Hit By Drunk Driver

My Mother was hit by drunk driver

Written By Dean Masciarelli

January 19, 2010 (11:16pm)

There is a reason that I
never had a chance to
meet my natural Mother

And it wasn’t because
she didn’t
want me to find her

Because my sister told me
that she was looking for
me what seemed like forever

And at the time when my
Mothers
life was taken away from her

I am more then sure that
she wasn’t ready to go

Because she was so much
younger then I am now

But she failed to look
over her shoulder

When she was crossing
the street that night

And that’s when a young man
was driving way to fast
when he came around the corner

And he claims that he didn’t see
my Mother until it was to late

Because he was trying to change the radio

And he was also sipping on a beer that night

And that’s when her head went through the windshield

And he stepped on the brakes
as he was staring into her face

And in an instant her life was over

Because

My Mother was hit by a drunk driver

And that’s why I never
had the
opportunity to meet her

Because he took her life away from her
by not being a responsible driver

(If your going to drink please stay at home
and don’t drink and drive
because something like this could also happen to you)
