Perfect Entertainer

Curtin closed, sky is black,
The King you know, won’t be back.
Price of fame, made him go insane,
To live a life he distained.
Born to be the “Golden cash cow”,
                          Lost childhood, soul sold somehow.
Pushed to be the Perfect Entertainer,
                           Money, money, money, no brain’er
So it came to be, he had his wealth,
Lonely soul still sits upon his shelf.
He bought the World, still wasn‘t happy,
Just wanted real love from his Pappy.
Scares so deep, he could not sleep,
Now his dreams forever he keeps.
Twisted visions always will remain,
Of the Perfect Entertainer gone insane.
Owned he was by the people,
Perfect Entertainer sits upon pops steeple.
Heart was of a humble lad,
Never understood the teachings from his Dad.
Breaking within from all the pressure,
Turned to drugs to be his chosen mesher.
World built his image in it’s light,
                             Molded perfection, image too tight.
In a world that isn’t right,
He broke the mold of black and white.
Perfect Entertainer gone insane,
Will in time they even remember his name.

The Image

she met this girl
by the sand pitch
where they played
and told their darkest secrets

This girl told
once she was afraid
of the mirror
because it revealed to her
this other pale little image
that was just scared to lift
its eyes

That image in the mirror
cried tears,desperate tears
that made her
fear tomorrow
because everyday
her need grew
but she was
just too scared to
stop,step back and say
"i need..."

it slept nights
in a haunted house
where five ghosts that
lived in it wrestled
to be unleashed
Their power frightened her

that image would
never leave the mirror
because that now,has become
its home
And there its allowed
to voice its endless thoughts
that a human mind could not console
thoughts of a wild mind that do not rest
and can take a wicked ride
on infant hearts
and toxicate them 'til they
are colourless

That very image
Is the one you are looking at...
that image
lives with me

My "you"

Name the ocean and I’ll swim to you
The sacrifice of love would be worth it, it’s true
I cannot imagine life without my “You”
Death would be a better an alternative, than starting anew

But the ocean I fail to swim across
Is falling out of love, which leaves me at a loss
My “You” is gone and the image of her
The one thing I long for, the image I would refer

I am lost and I cannot find me,
My emotions are scrambled, I feel like I cannot see
I want to love, to be happy; is that too much to ask?
But this ocean I drown, I cannot swim, I cannot complete the task

Help me, give me my “You” back to me
Just on more time, and I can die happy
