Being Thankful For a Thought

When you mind your mind cause' all you find.
Is dried up fruit under the rind.
You can't recall what you should know.
You think maybe it's time to go.

The fog is thick, nothing will stick.
You can't depend on your old schtick.
The fading blues is now the news.
Lord knows it's not what you would choose.

So to be thankful on this day.
You have to cast off your dismay.
And eat some turkey, take a nap.
Then wake up, have a nightcap.

For every year family's will fear.
That Uncle will drink too much beer.
And Auntie will be in the wine.
Don't worry, tomorrow, it will be fine.

When everyone must go back home.
I'll sit right down and write a poem.
About how life has come and gone.
And how a thought can't seem to dawn.

Just rambling runnings in the mist.
Of something, I didn't get the gist.
The absence of the facts dismissed.
Oh yeah, here is my Christmas list.

Premium Member Shredded Smoke-

And it's black
There is a wave runnings of the White Snake
The serpent flaming White Red Hots
Stencils penciled in steep smoke rises up
in the atmosphere over and beyond the mountainous hills
Gathering molding on the ground O the freedom
when I can breathe freely and be with him
the fire blazed smoke calls my name
channeling rambling firing upward past the second and first heaven
smoke engulfs me the fire touches me the flame broiler burn me
I am Touched by the Light
But as it goes out I'm in the darkness
And the frame still engulfs me amber glisson lit fire drops flames
No longer the smoke involves me into a trance
I can no longer dance I am bound by the smoke the fire rages
it burns it burns it avails and in the trauma of my drama
Sake gathers up like the cloud in the blue sky
And I am lit like a candle light burning burning on I am stranded
by the smoke I am embedded by the smoke and yet
I Rise hoping my eyes they no longer Burns me
I can breathe again for the smoke the stratus smoke distance
Totally captivates I am freed by the smoke getting brace
to me wavering fan rising above in I am delighted I am enthralled
and through it all through it all
the smoke I am embedded in the Clouds of Joy
I can breathe better now the lightning flash
I can now do my heaven dance and I am embedded in the life of God

Take a Bow

Take a step take a bow
don't push me too hard
am still in reminiscence
of my lost course
which tells you I ve not recovered

Take a step take a bow
and don't knock me off
the questions in my attitudes
are alcoholic
when nature tends it they react

Take a step take a bow
but don't take a fling

Take the roses
to where they will blossom
plant them in the fields of love
take them away from the sun
they might melt

Take a bow clean up your mess

Cos' tomorrow lies a clean slate

Take your heart
do the needful
life scary habits
don't worth anything

Wear on a muffler
put on a jacket
the rain will greet
only those who are ready

Dress up the Cheetahs
dress up the Hyenas
attitudes will speak out their kind

Take a bow
but don't take a seat
life runnings
are not meant for the idle Pro 6 :6-11

Remembering You

All these dogs still alive in the world,
still the runnings and jumpings and snarfing downs of dinners
and you’re not one of them.
Joy is unbeautiful beauty,
joy is a paradox.
The sorrow of what has happened,
and the sorrow of my sight of it,
so the delight of my memory of it,
so the being of it.
You were really on my chest
We really grew up beside each other
And Damn. Im alive.
things are serious
and possible
and with consequence
and poetry
and fur
and skin
